I stayed here for 4 nights as part of a business trip. The check in process was smooth and the team were very welcoming. There were some gingerbread biscuits on offer throughout the day which was a nice treat. I had a room on the 2nd floor close to the fitness centre. The room was clean, modern and functional. The bathroom was spacious with a hair dryer and a plug for shavers / electric toothbrushes. The room was a bit cold and AC / Heating unit didn’t see to work as expected. I The downside was the shower with a half glass partition and a relatively flat floor, This meant that when showering, the water would run off into the bathroom. I had to use the towels provided to clean up after every shower. Breakfast was pleasant with a selection of warm and cold options, various bread and spread options. Juice, water and coffee was readily available. The staff in the restaurant were very good. There is a conference and business centre here located on the first floor. The hotel also offers parking onsite.

Un hotel muy agradable. Será muy amable y los habitaciones son simplemente maravillosos. Es todo lo que necesitas. Un buen lobby con el personal nos ha recibido. Moderno establecimiento simple y conveniente, personal amable. El hotel dispone de habitaciones con aire acondicionado y aire acondicionado. Ideal para viajes urbanos y visitantes de exposiciones. Se utiliza también por viajeros de negocios y montadores. No hay un bunker de estrellas, pero hay un hotel de cadena conveniente con buena conexión a la carretera para los conductores.En las proximidades hay tiendas y restaurantes a pie.

We loved it. The hotel is a converted fortified house from the 13th century with extensive grounds that made for lovely walking in the Easter sun. Breakfast is plentiful and there’s a good choice of food, and endless supply of coffee. The bedrooms are clean, the beds comfy, and super-quiet. If that was all I knew about this place, it would be enough to recommend it. But it is not all I know. There’s more. What sets hotels apart is attentiveness to detail. And this hotel has that - all the little touches that made our stay so much nicer, they pushed the beds together since they knew we were a married couple, they opened up quiet areas for us to sit and enjoy a coffee. But there’s yet more. Staff are all friendly, competent and always there for you. Particular mention goes to the night staff, Ann-Christin and Erdal, who were somehow always able to find time for a nice chat with us despite having to manage several things at once. Go there. It’s fun.

El hotel está justo a lo largo de la carretera desde el centro de la ciudad pedestrianizado tan bien situado. Estacionamiento gratuito si usted estaciona en el parque de coches superficiales. El lobby de recepción era muy adorable y la habitación del hotel era grande. Sólo la cuestión era la falta de aire acondicionado. El personal de recepción estaba muy contento de dar a los grandes fans eléctricos a cualquiera que pidió que se acoplara en sus dormitorios.

The Intercity is situated close to the main station and football museum in Dor**und. There are lots of bars and restaurants in close proximity. My room was fairly basic with bathroom with shower but no tub. The bed was comfortable and there was enough space for hanging and storing clothing. No tea & coffee making facilities were provided but there was a safe, a fridge and complimentary bottle of sparkling water. I did not have the breakfast on offer at €17.50 but did use the bar where the drinks were reasonably priced. I paid around £140 for two nights via hotels,com although that did include a discounted night.

Had a great stay in Moxy Essen from 11/06/2023 – 14/06/2023. I was travelling around the Rhine Ruhr region with my friend (and we both have Marriott Gold elite status from staying in a Marriott for university). This hotel was in a great location right next to the HBF station in Essen and was clean and modern. The bar had a good vibe and we had free drinks on arrival. We used points for this stay, and the way that the points worked out meant that we had 2 different bookings over 3 nights, but this was not an issue and we managed to get the same room for the duration of our stay (we even got a bonus welcome drink for it)! I’m probably not going to do the hotel justice here, but it was a well laid out and stylish hotel with decent sized rooms. We had a twin room to share and the staff made extra effort so that we were on the quieter side of the building. We initially checked into the hotel at approximately 2pm, but decided to spend the afternoon in Wuppertal. When we arrived back on the first night. I had a shower, and there was no shampoo. No big deal, but I ended up going down to reception to ask for some. The man couldn’t find any shampoo, but about half an hour later, some appeared, I think he probably brought I from the shop as it wasn’t in the normal bright pink Moxy bottle, but it was really nice of him to make the effort. That day, the weather hit 32 degrees and whilst we were waiting for the shampoo, we tried to work out how the air conditioning worked. Between me and my friend that I was travelling with, we couldn’t work it out, so we asked the employee. However, between the 3 of us and Google we could not work it out. Anyway, I think we were the only people in the hotel that night as this was approximately midnight local time, and I think we went in every room in the corridor. To try and find one with working air con. All of them were empty! We eventually found one that wasn’t like a sauna and packed our stuff and moved. The employee was genuinely the nicest and most helpful employee I think I have ever seen in a hotel, very apologetic, but also very sociable. It was really nice to meet him as he was so happy to help. Unfortunately I didn’t get his name, but he had a ponytail I think and said he was Turkish. I think he will know who we are when he reads this! I saw him off duty in the bar the next night and thanked him. We even got 2 free breakfasts out of this!! The breakfast was good, though probably not worth the price we were told when we booked (I think it was about 15 euros but can’t remember as I have stayed in about 5 hotels in the past week and they have all rolled into one a bit). There was a few cooked items (Bacon & Scrambled Egg) and a few cold/ cereal items, but not loads. I probably wouldn’t recommend getting breakfast as all the Moxys allow a free coffee/ juice in the morning and a pastry, which is a nice touch. El hotel está a pocos minutos de la estación de metro Philharmonie o a 15 minutos a pie de la estación principal y, por lo tanto, muy bien situado. La habitación estaba muy bien mantenida y por el precio, un buen tamaño. Excelente cobertura WiFi a buenas velocidades de conexión. En general, una muy agradable estancia en un hotel muy agradable.
