hotel overall was good nice bed friendly staff breakfast though was poor warm not hot overall including coffee would not next time use brewers fayre for food

Excellent hotel near great shops, we enjoyed time with family and shopping. We will come back here whenever we have to again . This hotel is not far from my favourite shops and my family members who i go visit.

Quiet and comfortable stay with very helpful staff both in the hotel and the Brewers Fayre. Temperature control in the room was a bit iffy but generally OK.

All staff couldn't do enough for you, really helpful and nothing a problem 👌 booking in was easy ! There was an 18th birthday party on in the restaurant on the second night which was very busy ( and a little bit rowdy but we were 18 once 50 + years ago )only downside was we booked table no 35 for 7.00pm but was occupied when we got into the restaurant ( but it was busy ) Biggest plus was breakfast which is cooked to order and comes piping hot 😋 not like self serve in many Premier Inns now !

Stayed here for the weekend and can recommend as a base for exploring the area. The great thing about a Premier Inn is that you know what you’re going to get and this one didn’t disappoint. Lovely big, quiet room with the usual super comfy bed and great shower. Very good breakfast at the adjacent Brewers Fayre too. Everyone was very welcoming, friendly and efficient. Many thanks to Yvonne, Melanie and all the team. 10/10!

Very nice rooms friendly staff only down fall I could see was plugs for charging things there was only 2 of us in a twin room and we struggled with plugs or even usb ports to charge phones and that up the plug that were in the room were all under the TV not in a handy place

We have stayed at this hotel on many occasions and have never had a problem. On this occasion Melanie was particularly helpful. We are Pensioners and I have difficulties getting about. She did every thing to make sure we were helpful. The hotel is near the town and the road system makes it easy to get about. The staff in the Brewers Fayre were also very helpful. The room was comfortable the cleaner being excellent. If you want a good place to stop off then I recommend this to you. I have said many times before the quality of the process relies upon the staff. Look after them they deserve it.

Room was not clean fully and told them still didn’t get sorted will look at other places first can’t recommend this time well over price but normally good service but this time was a total waste of money

Lovely Premier Inn, our second visit there. Both times we have had a really friendly welcome. Rooms very comfortable and clean, breakfast in the pub opposite great too. Really good location for exploring the surrounding area including Barnard Castle and the Bowes Museum.
