I book this hotel because i have an early flight the day after. I had a very good experience with Moxy in Korea, so i booked a room in a discounted price. From Airport to Hotel takes around 5mins with bus, but i recommend you to take a uber/taxi there because the bus would take a long wait. The front desk can speak both English and German, nothing to complaint. However, the Hygiene of my room is a bit below the average. After I enter the room there is human hair all around the room and toilet, also red toilet paper in the toilet and it is not flushed. Breakfast is included in my package, very decent and typical German Breakfast. Loads of Breads with a variety of butters, cold cuts, Yogurt, scrambled egg etc. Shuttle bus service is provided every 30mins, you have to reserve it in advance. However the charge is just the same as uber and taxi, so it’s your choice to pick. Overall it would be an average stay for people who need a refreshing night before an early flight. But I just don’t think it worths for its original price. Luckily I booked it in a discounted price.

Stayed here for an early morning flight. I had a rental car to drop off which was handy as the hotel is not in walking distance to the terminal. It took me about 7 minutes to drive there. I am told there is a shuttle bus service. The room was very clean and well sound proofed. Bathroom was small but adequate. I did not like the plastic bed sheet to protect the mattress. Check-in was easy and prepay, so no hassle in the morning. Did not have any food so can´t comment. Parked outside the hotel but possibly in a tow-away area. I was lucky though. The area has the feel of a construction site but this will change soon, I am sure. Would go again if the price was much lower than for the hotels directly at the terminal.

El Estrel Berlin es un hotel impresionante. Las habitaciones son amplias y cómodas. El servicio es profesional y cortés. El desayuno buffet ofrece una amplia variedad de platos deliciosos. La ubicación del hotel es conveniente, cerca del transporte público y de las atracciones turísticas. En definitiva un hotel recomendable para una estancia agradable en Berlín.

I recently visited this hotel with my boyfriend and I was very impressed. We arrived a little before check-in and we were allowed to go to our room. the room was very spacious with an extremely comfy bed and amazing shower. Also on the last day our flight was not for a while and were were allowed to wait in the lobby after checkout which had lovely sofas and seating areas. It was quiet and there were people working in there. The staff were very lobely and was great for the price.

As a woman unexpectedly alone in Berlin (H missed flight) this was a perfect place to stay. Modern 4* hotel. Lovely staff. Amongst best hotel breakfasts. Perfect location for walking around Berlin in quieter area just south of centre. My only gripe was that my room didn’t have courtyard view as extension blocked view and all I could see was rendered wall.

This is a modern functional hotel (which we booked via BA holidays) apparently popular for conferences, so you get the picture. Four of us went for a city break. The hotel is well situated within easy walking distance of Gendarmenmarkt. Spittelmart U-bahn is 2 minutes away. Easy and welcoming check-in. Our rooms were comfortable and spacious. The bathroom had an excellent walk-in shower although the wash basin had the depth of a birdbath. What was surprising was the amount of wasted space in the bedroom with a great void between the bed and the door which could have been used for some proper drawers and shelves. As it was, there was only 1 drawer and 3 shelves, one of which was useful only if you were 2 metres tall (see photo). The wardrobe, if you could call it that, was an open hanging space, but it was situated at right angles to a padded seat (see photo) making accessibility difficult and there was only one chair in the room. Tea-making facilities were available but instant coffee only and powdered milk. We used to take a small jug of milk from breakfast and keep it in the fridge. There was a very good and comprehensive breakfast with just about everything one could want. As a morning tea drinker I cannot comment on the coffee which came from a machine, but there was an excellent selection of leaf teas. The hot food was OK, but nothing cooked to order so that eggs were either warm scrambled or hard boiled. Staff were very helpful and dishes promptly refilled. We didn’t use the restaurant for dinner as the menu looked pretty basic but there are restaurants within walking distance. All in all, nothing special but I would still recommend it for a short stay.

La habitación era muy agradable, pero no era muy agradable. Pagamos el impuesto turístico y tuvimos una habitación clave para nuestra habitación. Pagamos en línea alrededor de 80 Euro por noche y tuvimos una habitación con tres camas en la parte de atrás. La habitación era limpia y sencilla. Un escritorio con TV de pantalla grande, una ducha con un baño y una lavadora. La ducha estaba bien, pero no nos gustaban las cortinas de ducha. También el agua sería caliente durante unos cinco minutos pero no nos molestó. Limpieza diaria con nuevos ropa interior y toallas. La mañana puedes tener desayuno pero tienes que pagar por ello. El hotel está situado en el centro de Berlín, cerca de la Kurfurstenstrasse y la Dam.

La ubicación está a tiro de piedra de la estación central. Vine a Berlín para el maratón y pude caminar hasta el punto de partida. El único punto negativo es que no hay hervidor de agua en la habitación para que yo haga agua caliente.

Siempre reservo este hotel para mi madre cuando visita Berlín, está cerca de bonitas tiendas y cafés y en una bonita zona. El personal es servicial y también se ofreció a imprimir sus tarjetas de embarque para los vuelos del día siguiente. Por lo general, no reserva con desayuno, así que no puedo comentar sobre eso.

En respuesta a eso, el gerente de la oficina delantera me dijo que no había más habitaciones para mí y que tenía que comprobar ahora y salir del hotel. Después de esa conversación, me fui a Booking.com y me reservaron una habitación para los mismos días, sin desayuno, y sorprendentes habitaciones todavía estaban disponibles. En el hotel, la Sra. Hauswald me ha dado una buena idea de que no podía encontrar ninguna reserva. Entonces, aunque ya le he ofrecido una tarjeta de crédito en mi reserva, me pidió que le mostrase porque no creía que no fuera mía. Respondí que la tarjeta era mía y le ofrecía que le mirara, pero no tenía números en ella. Así que ella me pidió que escribira mis detalles de mi tarjeta de crédito, incluido el código CVV, en un papel como ”un seguro”. Un momento más tarde me ofreció el terminal POS para pagar por tarjeta, que indicaba una cantidad de 30 euros más que el precio que reservaba la habitación en este sitio. La Sra. Hauweld respondió de forma muy desrespetuosa que le pedí que incluya el desayuno y que la estaba confundiendo de nuevo. Después de esa situación, les pedí gentilmente que hablaran con ella. Ella respondió que no tenía supervisor y que era la única persona que trabajaba en el hotel durante todo el fin de semana. Sin embargo, a pesar de esta mala experiencia con ese personal, me gustaría señalar que los otros gestores de oficinas de frente fueron muy amables y útiles en todo momento.
