"Excellent venue for trout fishing. Been there twice. This time however a cold front took fish of the bite. The chalets are excellent equipped and very cosy once the fire is burning. The dams are on your front stoep and the staff extremely friendly. Please is well kept and well looked after. Wifi and TV is not up to scratch as signal is dropped non stop and it is an effort to watch anything or to use the internet."

"We only went for dinner so cannot comment on the accommodation The view and restaurant is beautful Very tastefully decorated. Lovely atmosphere and the staff were very attentive friendly and efficient. Strangely though there’s no wine available in the restaurant When I asked the waitress she said we could have white or red house wine but had no idea from where it came. The red house wine was good though. The menu is small but caters for everyone and the food was very good and well presented. It arrived quickly and was exactly what we ordered We had to ask for serviettes and side plates but other than that I would certainly recommend this restaurant It’s in such a beautiful setting."

"Found this place by chance via a Google search and decided it would suffice as an evening stopover en route to the Kruger. What a beautiful place! Loved every minute of being here. I only wish we could have stayed longer. The main hotel was cosy and comfortable with superb staff. Food was delicious with a great wine selection. A beautiful estate which peaceful and safe. Perfect for a romantic weekend or longer family holiday. "

Since we arrived late, they kindly prepared a meal just for us – a great steak and the best fries! "Lovely Estate as you drive in with a warm and inviting reception and restaurant area. BUT the accommodation is dated, not maintained at all (that includes the furniture). I actually went back to the website to check because I cannot recall that the website looked like the Holiday Club chalet that we stayed in. There were a few basics missing in the house as well. I was extremely disappointed. I also booked a facial at the spa. The therapist hardly communicated to me after I told her my skin concerns and she did not listen to my requests. Another disappointment - certainly not the professionalism that I expect from a spa. The whole stay not value for money."
