"This pousada has good and bad points. Extremely difficult to find when we arrived at night. Few signs, and the town pretty much deserted. Having got there, liked the secure parking. The building is amazing, the pool area very good. Now the bad - our shower tricked water, the grab rail was falling off the wall. Asked for that to be sorted, the shower was. We like to play card type games in the evening after dinner but where - there was a card table in what should have been a bar but isn’t, and the room was being painted, so we tried the table in the cloister, too dark, we tried an empty table in the dining room but Miss Grumpy said no, we tried using the sofas in the unused cavernous area you walk through as you go from car park to reception but that hurt my back. The card table came back in use later in the week. It was hot, I went to the dining room to order drinks. Miss Grumpy on again - we do not deliver to the card room so I waited and took them myself. Pool has some service and most of the time someone does appear from time to time unless Miss Grumpy is on when you have to hunt for her inside the dining room. Apart from breakfast and afternoon at the pool you never see a soul either staff or guests. They have kept staff to a minimum which means centring everything on the dining room. Our rooms were not serviced until late afternoon which is really too late. Though the breakfast was ok it did not meet the breakfast we had at the Viana pousada. Central location is good. The bedrooms felt what they are - nuns cells. I would not return here"

"Nice rooms, bed was quite comfortable, very clean including the bathroom. The room was a good size with a little fridge in it. The breakfast was great with a good selection including hot food. It's located in a very yet area with a couple of cafes and a restaurant opposite. It is a long walk to the historic centre, 25 mins or so. The only downside is you have to slam the door shut when you leave the room there was no way to do this quietly as the handle didn't move. "

"La ubicación es buena si viaja por coche debido al estacionamiento gratuito y es 15-20 min a pie al centro de la ciudad (3-5 min por coche). Pero no había algunas comodidades que esperaba en un hotel de 4 estrellas como pantalones, baño o cafetera. Las camas y las galletas eran buenas. El desayuno buffet era típico (queso, hambre, huevos, cereales, pasteles, frutas) excepto por falta de vegetales. Si no quieres una visita inesperada de una novia a 9-10 o'clock por la mañana (sin _no_ avisos como golpear en la puerta o preguntas) use "no molestes" sign!"

"Hace 11 años que vamos casi cada verano a esta pousada. Desgraciadamente ha bajado su calidad, lo que no se corresponde con la subida de sus precios. Entre otras cosas, lo hemos notado en lo siguiente: - habitación sin limpiar hasta las 18:30 - piscina con agua turbia y sin aspirar. Toallas insuficientes hasta el punto de poner en las tumbonas las toallas de los baños de las habitaciones. - este año el bar de la piscina ha reducido el horario de comidas no recuerdo desde qué hora hasta las 3. Anteriormente se podía comer a cualquier hora. Además, las mesas quedan sin recoger. - hace años había mantel en la mesa del desayuno, después pasaron a los individuales y actualmente, nada: directamente sobre la mesa. El personal es muy amable y profesional; todo lo enumerado no es por falta de trabajo. Lo que parece es que han reducido personal. Para dar atención a los clientes, hay que contratar trabajadores. Más aún si se suben los precios."
