The Cedars

What a lovely find. Stayed for two nights. Quiet peaceful room (4) with pretty view across the fields. Sumptuous breakfast was a lovely suprise. Gilly & Dominic have thought of everything. Easy booking and I received a text just before arrival explaining check in, but Gilly was on hand anyway to ensure everything went smoothly. Convenient bus stop right outside the drive for easy and quick access into Bath (20mins), so no need to worry about parking in the City Thoughtful discount for Key workers, so have wholeheartedly recommended to colleagues. Perfect, comfy bed, beautiful room and bathroom. Warm and cozy. Quiet with friendly hosts. View idyllic. Had a lovely time. Bus conveniently just outside the cedars. Pub next door has great food. Also other food places nearby. Free off road parking

A four night break just before Chris**as and who could ask for more. There is a reason The Cedars has five stars and that is because they’re worth it! We had a delightful visit taking on board one tip before we booked, avoid the Chris**as Market! With the City of Bath totally overrun with tourists and shoppers this evidently is not a good time to come. We however came later and had the time of our life. The Cedars is the ideal location to stay with a bus stop right outside and a frequent bus every few minutes. Single fare into the city is £2 less than it costs to park for a couple of hours. The trip takes around 15 minutes even with stationery traffic; long live the bus lane! We elected for the Continental Breakfast and again this set us up for the day. Having it brought to your room meant no need to get showered and ready first too. We dined each night next door at The Crown and there was easily enough choice to do this. (See my review elsewhere on here) On one day too we drove 30 minutes to Aerospace Bristol where the final flight Concorde is kept. This was a great time for a visit as again not many crowds. In short The Cedars is an excellent B&B run by great people in a superb location and we will certainly be back.

FIRST TIME AT THE CEDARS. GILLY'S COMMUNICATION WAS EXCELLENT THROUGHOUT. WE WERE IN ROOM 6 AT THE FRONT OF THE PROPERTY WHICH WAS OKAY. LOVELY BREAKFAST. GREAT TO HAVE THE BUS STOP DIRECTLY OUTSIDE THE PROPERTY. WENT INTO BATH USING THE SEVICE A COUPLE OF TIMES. THE CROWN NEXT DOOR WAS A BIT OF A DISAPPOIN**ENT. THE KINGS ARMS IN MONKTON FARLEIGH WAS OKAY. THE EASTERN SPICE INDIAN IN BATH EASTON WAS VERY GOOD. ALL IN ALL A GREAT BASE TO VISIT BATH WITHOUT USING THE CAR.

We have stayed at The Cedars two years in a row and cannot fault it! Damian and Gilly are both lovely, always on hand to help with anything you may need and always happy to have a chat in passing. The rooms are like a home from home and have everything you need, the bed is super comfy and all of the extra little touches don't go unnoticed! The continential breakfast is great and they accommodated for my partners nut allergy by making him a 10/10 cooked breakfast. The Cedars has become our go-to B&B in Bath and we will definitely be returning next year :)

Fantastic place to stay a great location with The Crown pub next door and a bus stop taking you on a short trip straight into the centre of the city itself. Damian and Gilly provide a lovely place to stay, very smart and cosy and the best continental breakfast I’ve ever seen and vast!

My cousin and I stayed here this weekend for a 2 night visit to Bath and what an absolutely beautiful place to stay! The owners (Gilly & Daim) were so friendly & welcoming & could not do enough for us! The continental breakfast was exceptional and delicious and delivered to our door both mornings! The accommodation is clean, tidy, modern and has everting you need with free parking. Bus stop right outside the property (number 3) takes you directly in to Bath - about a 15/20min journey. We walked in to Bath along the canal (50mins) which was a gorgeous walk, and got the bus back. We ate at the pub next door on Friday night (The Crown) which was delicious & at the Indian restaurant (Easton Spice) inside the George & Dragon Pub (in the next village along) on the Saturday night which was very good too! Would absolutely recommend The Cedars to stay - very reasonably priced, awesome place with fab hosts and in a great location! We’ll be back! Thanks so much… Gemma & Claire x

Warm welcome from our host Gilly although there is an efficient self service check-in process if you don't know when you will be arriving. Units are self contained, very clean, with a very useful fridge and fresh milk in the room. Continental breakfast is served in the room. Ours was superb with top quality ingredients beautifully served.

This really is a hidden gem. The room was so spacious and clean. Really lovely little touches like fresh milk in the mini fridge and wine glasses with a bottle opener. The continental breakfast was delicious and left just outside the room for us to collect. Catered well for gluten free. So nice to have our breakfast in our room. There is a bus stop just outside with regular buses to the city centre so no need to drive anywhere. You could even walk into the centre. Took us about an hour. The owners were both very friendly. Would highly recommend
