Anchor Guest House

就是個家庭旅館，根本不是啥酒店，就是位置還行，房間非常簡陋，還各種亂收費，也沒早餐，不會再去第二次。

If you’re bothered about luxury or space then this isn’t the place for you. However, if you want a FREE secure car parking space and good transport connections to Wembley and central London by bus train etc then this place is ideal to just get your head down and have a half decent place to stay. The manager was nice enough and showed us where to park and where the room was. Be willing to compromise on space for a good location and free and safe parking. The room was tiny but it had a private bathroom with toilet and shower the bed was VERY comfy and I slept well all night with no interruptions. Price reflected what was offered. I didn’t see a breakfast offering but hadn’t planned to have breakfast anyway so wasn’t looking. It is what it is, a no-frills, small, simple, decent enough place to crash with great transport connections. I paid £16 in an uber to Wembley Park which took 20 mins.

Disgusting place, filthy, dirty and not ft for a rat! Mould on curtains, shower that dirty couldnt use, you would be dirtier once used, glasses un clean, rotten wood. Please go somewhere else Booking wont refund, hotel wont refund because we left before someone was there, we just wanted to get out!! Dusgusting place

Avoid this guest house at all costs. We booked 2 weeks in advance and had travelled across London to get to the Anchor Guest House. 2 tubes stops away from arriving we received a call from the host to say he was cancelling our booking as he was overbooked and had only just seen our reservation. He was very unapologetic. We spent a whole afternoon trying to find alternative accommodation. Completely ruined our day and a wasted afternoon when we could have been sightseeing. Not acceptable on any level.

Awful place , soon as you walk in you could smell ***** ( **** ) it was so strong especially when the staff were around! ,tiny room , no wardrobe, just a rail that you couldn't get to without standing on the bed , tv was only available via apps , but the wifi was non existent...so no tv !! This hotel used to ok as we have stayed there before ,seems to have been taken over by someone else , reception area has now gone , and replaced by another scruffy bedroom , so checked in by someone on a tiny desk and a chair in the corridor , just not good enough , no fridge as advertised .I was in room 19 and looked to me like it used to be some sort of cupboard of tiny store room , just not worth the money they charge , wouldn't stay here again if it was free ...that's how bad it was ! it's gone down hill so drastically, and sad to see it has turned into such a dump ! stay well away ,you'll probably be better off in a Hostel !! yes it's that bad ! !

Photos and reviews on website were poor and not up to date. I believed them and then we were in for disappointment. One of my most disappointing stays ever. Room was extremely small, was only big enough for the beds. Shower and bathroom were so small could barely take a dump, or a shower. Great location though, that was also a factor in deciding to stay here. At the end of the day we would've rather stayed at a Travelodge. Sorry that it didn't work out.

The only good thing about this place is its location which is excellent, being so close to a tube and major bus and coach station. However the hotel, if one may call it so, was a big disappointment. The two rooms we were in were nowhere near the ones advertised. Both the room and especially the bathroom were so tiny. Linen was not replaced on most days. Our air conditioner was out of order and the other couple's fridge was out too. The other couple told us they saw bed bugs and to top it all, the manager was downright rude to us. Stay away from this accommodation.

Worst place we have ever stayed in. It isn`t even a hotel. From the outside looks like a house then when you enter it`s a maze to find your room. Which is basically a 3mx3m room with no place to move around, or place any objects, open your luggage etc. To make matters worse, it is extremely filthy and disgusting. The curtains were very dirty, there were bed bugs on the bed, dust everywhere. The bathroom is so dirty that once you enter you can literally smell the molds. The extractor was all blocked with thick grey dust. Not that we used the tv but it was literally on top of the bed so it`s impossible to watch if needed. We paid for air conditioning and fridge, and both were not working. The owner is very unprofessional too, he doesn`t even welcome you properly with the details of outer door lock (to enter the "hotel", erm building, doesn`t even give you any wifi passwords etc. We stayed 5 nights there and not even once the room was cleaned. Not even once were the towels changed. Once we left a towel on the floor for replacement and we found it back on the towel rack. I am attaching photos for proof. Horrible experience, and it`s pricey too. This place should be reported to the authorities.
