"Such a lovely location and convient to downtown Bar Harbor and the entrance to Acadia National Park. We stayed in cottage #6 and loved it! Traveled with my sister and mom(who walks with a cane). It was a very short distance for her to walk from where we parked the car (right next to the cottage) to the cottage, where she only had 2 steps to climb to enter. Also, the shower was a stand alone with no tub, so for us that was a plus. The sink in the bathroom was very small, but I think it added to the charm of the cottage. The beds were clean and very comfortable. We made use of the kitchen and table for dinner one night and it was nice to just relax and not be rushed with crowds in Bar Harbor. The screened in porch was awesome! When my sister and I went to ANP to hike, my mom enjoyed the afternoon reading on the porch. A win, win for all of us. The manager, Laura, was awesome. She was very helpful with suggestions about directions and places to eat. She was never rushed and made us feel very welcomed. We were there only 2 nights but would have loved to stay longer. If I'm ever in the area again, I will stay here again."
