Checked in to hotel room, AC was not cold even though we set it to the lowest temperature, turned off several times on its own, which made sleeping in the room stuffy. Requested for a repair of the AC in the afternoon and was told that they had fixed the issue. Came back to the room at night and same time happened throughout the night, gave front desk a call and requested for a change of room and they only had a available room which was not the type that i had booked. I booked a slightly larger room but we had to change to a smaller one which was fine as long as the AC and everything else was working fine. Changed to the above mentioned room at 12am, thank god the new room’s AC was working fine. Did not get any explanation or apology from the hotel for what had happened and read reviews that there were other travellers who experienced their AC wasnt cold as well, figured we were not the only ones who got this problem. The stay there was fine, staff were polite to guests, but it felt like they did not bother to try to make amends for the fact that we had to change rooms in the middle of the night, that honestly left a bad impression of the hotel to us, would probably not go back to staying here again the next time we visit Bangkok.
