Jubilee Hotel

Al momento de la salida, la esposa de una pareja anciana caucásica se dirigió a la recepción diciendo: "La habitación está sucia. No quiero volver a hospedarme en un hotel como este". Comprendí perfectamente cómo se sentía. Era vieja, sucia y ni siquiera había un cepillo de dientes. Cero comodidades. Me sorprendió que ni siquiera hubiera un control remoto para el televisor. Sin embargo, todo el personal era amable y sonriente. Sinceramente, creo que deberían reconstruir o cerrar. Solo quienes quieran ver algo espantoso deberían hospedarse aquí.

El transporte público en Brunéi es muy limitado. Este hotel ofrece servicio de recogida y regreso al aeropuerto. Esto fue muy útil para mí, ya que viajo sola. El desayuno no es buffet, pero podemos comer en una cafetería si nos ajustamos a nuestro presupuesto. La habitación también es amplia, con bañera, y todas las instalaciones funcionan a la perfección. Recomendaré este hotel a mis amigos. Gracias desde Indonesia.

Este hotel es antiguo. La habitación donde nos alojamos estaba bien. El baño, especialmente la ducha de rosas, necesita ser reemplazada urgentemente porque se romperá pronto. Se puede ir caminando al centro de la ciudad. En la planta baja hay una cafetería que vende todo tipo de comida y bebida a precios asequibles. El aparcamiento es gratuito y la conexión wifi es excelente.

¡Un hotel encantador! Sin duda lo recomendaría como mujer que viaja sola. Me sentí segura y el personal del hotel es muy amable. El servicio de traslado al aeropuerto es gratuito, lo cual es genial, y el hotel está muy bien ubicado. Cerca de un mercado matutino y del centro de la ciudad. Es una ciudad muy transitable a pie y en 10 minutos estás en un centro comercial o en el paseo marítimo. La habitación estaba limpia y ordenada, y el agua embotellada y las toallas se cambiaban a diario. Es tranquilo por la noche y muy limpio. El internet era lo suficientemente bueno como para trabajar. ¡Me alojaría de nuevo! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

El personal del hotel es muy amable y te dan una habitación enorme. Lo único es que es de los años 70/80 (jubileo, como en el jubileo de la reina de Inglaterra, para que te hagas una idea de su antigüedad) y prácticamente no ha cambiado nada desde entonces; es como una máquina del tiempo, muy auténtica, pero no tan limpia. Te limpian la cama a diario, así que no te preocupes, solo que todo está viejo y manchado.

2N stay at Jubilee Hotel: Service - excellent, all staffs including drivers, receptionists & cleaner are very courteous, friendly & helpful! Hotel & Room - this is an old hotel, nonetheless, it is very clean, tidy, spacious, safe & not noisy. Daily complementary items for the room will be 2 botted water, 2 sachets of coffee with creamers, 2 sachets of tea bag, 4 sachets of sugar. Facilities in the room: Electric kettle, TV, fridge, aircon, hot water shower, wifi (certain area/weak), shower gel, soap, toilet paper, tissue paper, etc. If you are lucky enough, your room may be upgraded free-of-charge (depending on availability, which happened to my booking - thank you so much to Jubilee Hotel!). Location: about 900m from Brunei Waterfront/City Centre area, which is about 10 minutes walk (there is short to the city centre via Kianggeh Market at the right hand side of the hotel, if you are facing the front door of the hotel, it will be from your right hand side to the back of the hotel). Others - if your room booking is inclusive of breakfast, Jubilee Hotel arranged it with a adjacent Sunway Restaurant which is beside the receptionist area at ground floor (breakfast time at 7 am to 10 am). Food & drinks for breakfast have to be ordered from a list of extensive menu with a cap of about 6 USD/pax (anything more than this will have to be paid). The list of menu consist of many tasty/delicious food & drinks at cheap prices. Complementary 2-way airport transfers using a nine seaters van (2 vans) will be from 7am to 9 pm daily (outside these hours, the fee will be ~15.50 USD for the 1 way of airport transfer). At the airport, the driver will wait for you with a signboard at a pillar of about 20 metres from the exit of customs area, on the way to the airport building exit door. Contact the hotel via email or the travel apps (if any) ~3 days before your request of airport transfer. The only slight complaint will be: wifi - not that strong at the room area (4th floor, some internal rooms will have no signal at all) & no wifi for guests at the reception & restaurant area. Jubilee Hotel need to improve on this the 100% seamless good guests experience. Overall - this is a value-for-money hotel considering the price of the room (USD ~32 per standard room with breakfast for 2, free 2-way airport transfers & good service) & the parity of Brunei Dollar with Singapore Dollar, one would not get this type of cheap & good hotel in Singapore, for sure!

They have free airport pick up service and the room is clean, however when you walk alone you must be aware stray dogs, i hope they will manage to solve this issues

The hotel staff were so helpful, my check in was so smooth eventho i arrived very late, clean room but little to no amenities
