Valoraciones de Philippos Hotel

El hotel estaba muy bien, la ubicación era perfecta, el personal fue muy servicial, estamos pensando en volver.

Éramos dos personas, pero como era una habitación triple, nos cambiamos al Herdion. Parecía ser el mismo hotel, pero funcionaba como Philippos y Herdion. La ubicación era genial. Estaba cerca de la Acrópolis, tranquilo por la noche, y había una tienda cerca donde podíamos comprar artículos básicos. Los coreanos suelen llegar a Atenas por la noche, y el personal nocturno era muy enérgico. Y el desayuno estaba delicioso.

Hotel muy bien situado, personal encantador, sin embargo mi habitación era ruidosa no había insonorización con la habitación de al lado. Es una pena.

El hotel está convenientemente ubicado, pero todos los muebles y equipos son muy viejos y requieren una actualización durante mucho tiempo. El frigorífico no funcionaba, tuvimos que apagar los caballos por la noche porque hacia mucho ruido. El desayuno es modesto y hay poco espacio. Es imposible aparcar un coche cerca, sólo se pueden encontrar plazas a 4 manzanas.

Exceptional hospitality in the heart of Athens I had a fantastic stay at Philippos Hotel! The location is unbeatable—literally steps away from the Acropolis Museum and the metro station. For anyone interested in tours, there is an 'Athenian Tours' office right across the street, which is very convenient and enjoy the Acropolis view from the rooftop. The Standout Service: The staff truly made my trip special. The male receptionist who welcomed me was incredibly nice and accommodating. Not only did he help me carry my heavy luggage upstairs, but he also spent time explaining the room, the Acropolis area, and suggesting great places to visit. On a day when I arrived and it was raining, he even thoughtfully offered me an umbrella. Another nice touch was the complimentary coffee served from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Even when the hotel was busy, everything felt very organized and clean. The Room & Breakfast: My room smelled wonderful, and the queen-sized bed was very comfortable. The washroom was clean and equipped with a hairdryer and toiletries. Breakfast was another highlight—it was very full and packed with a great assortment of breads, salads, sweets, juices, and coffee. Things to Consider: Stairs: The staircase is not very suitable for people with large luggage or mobility issues. While I was helped at check-in, the receptionist wasn't available when I was leaving, so I had to carry my heavy bags down the stairs by myself. Amenities: Note that while they provide basic toiletries, there were no toothbrushes or slippers, so you should pack your own. Smoking: For those who smoke, it is permitted outside the hotel and on the rooftop. Overall, a solid 4-star experience thanks to the wonderful staff and perfect location!"

Location is excellent, near Acropolis and Plaka at a walking distance. Personnel is very kind.  We would come back.  The room was good for the price and we had all basic needs covered, including breakfast.

First of all, the hotel staff are so nice incl. receptionists, breakfast lady, room attendants, etc. They all smile at you and greet you, very polite and helpful. We also booked 1 triple room for 3 adults but they gave us 2 double rooms with the same price of course although they had to move us to ground floor the 2nd day due to some electrical defaults in one of the rooms as it was newly renovated, which didnt bother us at all. We happily moved. Also free water bottles in the fridge included, all the necessary amenities were there, no kettle to boil water or cups for hot drinks were provided in the room but if you ask them, hot water provided at the hotel reception 24/7 also free tea, coffee and hot water for all guests provided from 3-9pm! Rooms were decent sized with comfy and clean beds, daily room service, breakfast was good and plenty and included in the room price, so cant complain! More hot food options would have been nice but it was continental which still was adequate. 5/5 stars

It was a HORRIBLE experience at Philipos Hotel.. We didn't find what we expected at the hotel and the pictures are not like the reality! We booked a Twin room with a view on the Acropolis. But they gave us a VERY basic room without any service and without a view on the main street. Everything is missing in the room: Dental kit, vanity kit, slippers, etc. We told them in the first night about the issu and asked for a better room, and they said they don't have another room. In the morning of the second day, we asked them again and they said that there is no available room, then and in the evening we asked them again arguing that the room smell bad also.. Then they agreed to give us another room but it was 100% the same.. Similar to the first one. We were in room 206 and changed it to roome 208 in the second night. It And the hotel gave us another room which is 100% similar to the first room (veey small, bad small, bad view, etc). No comb, no vanity kit, no slippers We booked a room with a view in Acropolis. But they gave us a room with no street view at all and with no view on Acropolis. When we askes them several time.. They said that it waa just a picture of a room with Acropolis's view on the booking website! Stay away from this hotel!

Really good service

It’s is in a great position. Easy to walk to the acropolis and plaka. Breakfast was delicious
