Llegamos de madrugada, el señor de recepción nos atendió de maravilla, pero preguntamos si era seguro salir del hotel, porque queríamos comprar algo y no nos lo recomendo. El hotel estaba genial, la habitación grande y limpia y tuvimos todo lo necesario. Pero el hotel (al igual que muchos otros) se encuentra en el centro, y es uno de los barrios más peligrosos. Nada mas llegar en las calles no había luces, había vagabundos y personas derogándose. Lo recomiendo para una estancia corta, pero si lo que buscas es unas vacaciones tranquilas o familiares no es el lugar adecuado, no por el hotel, sino por la zona. Una pena que por el descuido de la alcaldía, casi todos los barrios de Atenas sean así.

This Hotel was very modern and nicely designed. We had the room with a King bed and it was super comfortable. The room was also a nice size to fit our luggage. There is a safe in the room also and a mini fridge. The bathroom was completely updated, but the one thing I didn't care for was the all in one shower/bathroom. And the bathroom had a funky smell. The staff is most worthy of mention. Everyone was SOOO very helpful and nice and the lobby had a wonderful smell when you walked in. I would definitely stay here again!

This is an extremely nice hotel situated in a perfect location. Our stay and review are based on a Superior room You would be hard pressed to find an Athens hotel in a better location. You are right in the middle of all the action with shops and restaurants nearby. You are spoilt for choice. Although in a busy area we found the excellent double- glazed doors/windows kept any noises out and it was not an issue at all. Our Superior room came with a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities although that is not listed on their website. It may be worth e-mailing them if this is important to you. There was air-con but in March there was no need to make use of it so we cannot comment on its efficiency. The toilet/bathroom came with those tiny bottles of shampoo and body wash which we refuse to use on environmental grounds so we brought our own and used that. There was a sign saying that if the used towels were hung up then it was assumed that we were happy to reuse them. The cleaners replaced them daily regardless. The rooms were kept very clean. This hotel has much going for it. We grabbed a deal here at a very attractive price which included breakfast. The breakfast arrangements were in a fairly small area but we felt that a good selection was provided considering the space limitations. Plenty of fresh vegetable choices and delicious too. The Tomatoes and Cucumber just tasted so much better than we are used to. Cereals, bread, cakes, fruit and coffee from a machine. We looked forward to our breakfast every morning and didn’t grow tired of it. Minor gripes (being very picky). The over the bath shower was a mini battle in so much that it was prone to shoot water out onto the floor if you weren’t being careful. It could have been better but all we had to do was to adjust our showering habits and all was ok in the end. Our room had a balcony facing out to the street below. It would have been nice for a couple of chairs out there rather than just a large pot plant and the air-con unit for company. I did notice that no other balconies on other building had chairs out so perhaps that is just the Athens way. We had a Fridge in our room. Very welcome. A very close mini supermarket was the cheapest place we could find to buy water. E0.39 for 1.5 litres as I recall. We loved this hotel. All the staff were so nice and so helpful. I can’t remember all of their names but Irena and Eva come to mind. They helped make our stay wonderful. It had a curiously homely feel about the place. March time was a great time of the year as it was a pleasant day time temperature with it getting a bit chilly in the evenings. You could still dine outdoors but with a patio heater nearby. We loved Athens and have decided to return next March with the flights already booked. We will stay at the Plaka Hotel again. 5 stars from us

Excelente hotel . El personal fue súper amable con nosotros, llegamos tarde y nos proporcionaron leche para el bebé. El único inconveniente es la zona, edificios muy abandonados y gente con problemas de adicciones tirados en la calle o en los soportales.

Estaba en una habitación de albergue de 6 camas. Bunk era cómodo. Nice grandes cajas de cerradura. Buena iluminación y salidas eléctricas con cada bunk. Buenas cortinas para la privacidad y la iluminación. El personal era realmente útil y bienvenido. Nice café en la calle. El hotel está situado en el centro de Atenas, a la que se le ofrecen habitaciones limpias y cocina en el primer piso, y café y té. Si, al estar en una habitación compartida puede llegar ruidosamente cuando la gente entra después de una noche, pero esa vida del albergue. En cualquier caso, la cama era cómoda y dormi bien. Estaría allí otra vez.

Nice and neat hotel tucked away just behind the ferry port of Piraeus. It is very close, walkable to Ferry port E9 and E10. The hotel itself is clean, tidy and well organized. The staff are fantastic; welcoming, polite and helpful. The main reason for the 5 stars. Our room, like the hotel, was clean, tidy and enough space. The bed was firm which works for us. The bathroom is large enough for one person, the water pressure is great. I really enjoyed staying a the Filson hotel.

This is my second stay at a Selina Brand. Everything was on point. I gave 4 stars because of Two drawbacks - one the building works in the opposite building. They start at 8am and they woke me up, I know this is out of the control of Selina. And the second was the breakfast that I prepaid for each day. The scrambled egg looked like porridge oats but yellow. It wasn't appealing and not nice to eat. The staff on reception were very helpful. I stayed in a private room and my room was cleaned regularly and they gave clean towels. What I did like there was a mixture of both young and more mature travellers from different cultures. There is an awesome family run Mezze restaurant opposite which only during the day. Highly recommend to try. And there is another good restaurant also family run on the next street. There is a lot of Graffiti and Street Art in the area. Don't be put off as the area is very safe. In fact there is a lot of Graffiti across Athens. Go on a Street Art Tour and you will be educated on the history of street art and why it is done.

El Hotel Atenas de Dave es un hotel ideal para aquellos que buscan experimentar un nuevo tipo de hotel con un aspecto industrial frío. Me alegro de que le di una oportunidad justa para impresionarme, El caballero (Tristemente perdió su nombre) que nos acogió fue muy amable y feliz de ayudarnos y hacer lo que podía para asegurarnos que nos estaban felices. La habitación es muy agradable, pero no es muy agradable. La TV tenía una gran variedad de canales y la cama estaba muy cómoda, especialmente las pijamas. La zona alrededor era un poco deprimida, pero se puede ver que están empezando a renovar la zona, creo que en un año o dos será más fácil de ver y más atractivo para los turistas. Nos sentíamos en peligro ni nos preocupabamos de caminar por la zona. El hotel también tiene un gran techo con un Hot Tub que estaba abierto 24/7.

No se preocupe por la mala revisión que se ha hecho a continuación - nos quedamos en junio de 2022. Se han ido a través de una renovación y encontramos todo lo bueno. El personal delantero es muy profesional. La habitación estaba bien equipada--amado la vista desde la ducha hasta el área de dormitorio. Oh My-- el Buffet fue excepcional; deseaba que podíamos haber permanecido más tiempo. Buen valor para tu dinero.
