It’s a nice boutique hotel and with welcoming staffs. The food is good esp the curry, excellent.
The room size is perfect but the toilet is a bit too small. But well, it’s obvious nth we can do with that.

A nicely located ‘boutique ‘ hotel with a great restaurant conveniently located for waterfalls and stunning scenery nicely set back offthe ring road and only about 40 mins from Vik . The rooms in the main hotel are a bit old school and flowery in style rather than traditional Icelandic -and could do with a little remodelling . The new annex rooms are better if you want a more Nordic vibe. Otherwise very friendly and welcoming team with a good breakfast. The wild goose burger in the restaurant was awesome and the child’s burger very generous in size . Highly rated all the food we had. Slight gripe the hot tubs were a little green with algae but the views stunning .

The location was perfect for visiting the south/southeast coast. The staff was lovely and hospitable. The apartment was well appointed and very comfortable. And the restaurant was great! I highly recommend this hotel!

Nice spacious room, especially the bathroom. Clean. Not difficult to find. Scenic Area with horses surrounding the grounds. Welcoming staff and very good food at their restaurant. Large buffet breakfast too. Outdoor hot tube was nice and warm even in cool weather. Only a slight problem was encountered with checking in because the reception desk is not staffed 24 hours.

The evening restaurant is high quality with superb service and very tasty and well presented dishes.
But breakfast is basic, with below average service.
We stayed in the apartments and they were spacious and comfortable. Only addition would be a freezer section in the fridge as we had to ask for ice - but the staff were always on hand to give us ice.
Overall an excellent location with dining if you like to get back ‘home’ to eat and have a drink.
If you like horses, then it was lovely to watch the herd head west in the mornings to graze and then head back Eastwards in the evening…..
