El servicio de recepción muy amable.

Me alojo en este hotel cada vez que voy a esquiar a Asahikawa. Aunque está un poco lejos de la estación, hay un autobús directo a la estación de esquí desde debajo del hotel. También hay deliciosos restaurantes cerca, como Santoka Ramen y Asahikawa Sanpei. Personalmente recomiendo este hotel.

They should improve their room cleaning skills, there weee a lot of black hair left on the bathroom walls.

The hotel is a bit old and still using physical key. There is not much facility and just good for a short stay.

Absolutely Avoid! A Disappointing and Run-Down Experience at Toyo Hotel - One of the Worst Stays in Japan. Do yourself a favor and run away from the Toyo Hotel. This was, without a doubt, one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had in Japan. I truly regret staying here. The overwhelming impression of this hotel is that it's incredibly old and severely neglected. "Many things broken" is an understatement; the entire establishment feels like it hasn't seen proper maintenance or renovation in decades. In the bathroom, the bathtub and sink areas (as seen in the photos) were not just dated, but also showed significant signs of wear and what appeared to be mold or grime around the sealant. The general state of cleanliness in what should be a pristine area was concerning. The shower curtain also appeared old and stained. Beyond the bathroom, the age and disrepair continued. The chair in the room looked worn out, with its upholstery visibly torn and tattered. This kind of detail immediately makes you question the overall standard of the hotel. Even the bedside table, which serves as a central point in the room, looked tired and perhaps had some old-fashioned controls that felt more like a relic than a modern convenience. Overall, the lack of upkeep made for a very uncomfortable and unhygienic-feeling stay. This isn't the standard one expects from even a budget hotel in Japan, which are typically known for their cleanliness and efficiency. Save your money and your peace of mind. There are far better options available in Japan. This hotel is in desperate need of a complete overhaul, and until then, it's best avoided.

Unfortunately there was hair from other guests in our room and mold growing in the bathroom. Also the toilet was not really clean and dirty stains were visible on the seating. Suprising for japan, as hotels are very rarely like this - but for 120$ a night it was NOT OKAY Location was good with many restaurants, and parking is available for 800¥ per day

A room is not that small. It's fit for 2 people and luggages. I recommend for who want to stay and have low budget (but want a comfortable room)

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent and very friendly and accommodating. The shower was very good. The location is ok but quite a walk across town from the station. It was too warm, and the air conditioning did not make it cold enough.

The service from hotel staff is ok. however the cleanliness is terrible, the entire corridor carpet has a very bad stench, followed by the hotel room. the room has a extremely musty smell, toilet has a really bad stench seems like urine smell even though we flushed the toilet. not value for money. we need to spray so much perfume and air freshener. i am a frequent traveller and this is the smelliest hotel that i have ever stayed. quality of shower products is lousy as well. we ate at the hotel japanese restaurant, the food quality does not justify the price that we pay for the meal. would not recommend at all.

I stayed at this budget hotel during my trip and had a great experience. The location is convenient — close to the town and a few restaurants or convenience stores. The room was clean and basic, with a comfortable bed and good heating. Bathrooms is clean and Wi-Fi worked well. The staff were friendly and helpful, even though their English was limited.

The Asahikawa Toyo Hotel is an old school hotel. It is within walking distance of the Asahikawa train station or a short bus ride away. There are many eateries and little grocery stores nearby. We had some delicious food nearby and found the location to be relatively good. The hotel seems to have seen better days but still maintains a semblance of cleanliness. We didn’t find much to complain about it. Perfectly adequate for a night’s stay.
