This is an excellent hotel for families or those heading off for walks in the mountains. I have been to this valley 12 times now and stayed at the Waldhof many times. It is still run by the same family and all the staff make you feel very welcome. My son loved the new giant water slide and playing ping pong. Also, they were more than happy to give him something off menu if he didn’t like what they offered. I would rate it the best family hotel in the Oetz area.

We had a fantastic ski trip staying at Hotel Waldhof. The apartment we stayed is was perfect - amazing pools, sauna’s, super friendly staff and great food. The skiing in the area is also great - lots of resorts nearby. We are booked to go back again at Christmas we enjoyed it so much.

Wir können nur positives berichten! Wir wurden sehr gastfreundlich empfangen. Das Gebäude war innen und außen sehr gepflegt! Für uns ein Highlight der neue kinderbereich im schwimmbad mit rutsche und babybecken und das spielzimmer direkt neben dem speisesaal! Auf jeglichen wünsche wurde eingegangen. Sogar ein buggy und ein babyphon für die kids konnte geliehen werden! Das abendmenü war sehr lecker. Immer salat vom buffet, suppe des tages, drei Hauptgänge zur wahl und win nachtisch! Für die kids gab es ein kindermenü mit suppe, hauptgang und eis. Auf Änderungswünsche konnte eingegangen werden! Einziges manko die laute Straße die Vorallem in den frühen Morgenstunden zu hören war aber für uns kein Problem darstellte! Wir waren durchaus zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder

Wij verbleven in de suite Waldbar. Ruime, goed onderhouden kamer en tof terras met zicht op tuin. Tof met schuifdeur, zodat kindjes apart liggen. Veel kastruimte. Basic badkamer. Leuk hotel, wel verouderd. Voor de kindjes is er voldoende te doen, speeltuin, trampoline, binnenspeeltuin. Deze laatste lag wel vaak heel vuil, slechts 1x gepoetst in de week. Eten stelt teleur, ontbijt weinig keuze en diner ondermaats, zeker bij buffet. Italiaanse avond, slechts 3 soorten pasta/ sauzen, zelfde bij Schnitzelbuffet. Prijs-kwaliteit is dit zeker niet in verhouding. Wel top locatie en veel te doen in de nabije omgeving. Op zaterdag was er een trouwfeest, veel hinder door lawaai tot middernacht doordat wij sliepen boven speelruimte/ seminarieruimte. Zwembad is heel leuk, zowel binnen als buiten. Mooie ligzetels en zeker voldoende. Saunacomplex verzorgd, enkel jammer dat verschillende faciliteiten niet aanstonden (slechts 1 sauna binnen en 1 buiten).

Schöne und saubere Zimmer, ausreichend für 2 Erw. und 2 Kinder. Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Service super. Besonderes Highlight für uns war der ganz neue Kinderbereich im Hallenbad mit grosser Rutsche und Babybad. Ausserdem ist auch das Spielzimmer neben dem Restaurant ein Plus für Familien mit Kindern. Wir hatten mit unseren Kindern viel Spass im Waldhof und werden das Hotel au jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Positief: ontbijtbuffet, vriendelijkheid restaurantpersoneel, nette kamer en nieuw super zwembad buiten. Negatief: met stip het avondeten, van de vele hotels die wij in Oostenrijk hebben bezocht was de keuken hier van erbarmelijke kwaliteit. Pasta buffet met kunstmatige sauzen, schnitzelbuffet van cafetariakwaliteit, niet de krokante woeker schnitzel maar een vette lap vlees. Ook de rest van de week super slecht gegeten, saladebuffet fantasieloos en zonder enige afwisseling. Personeel receptie niet hartelijk maar arrogant en afstandelijk. En geen gastekarte met vrij gebruik van liften zoals wij gewend zijn. Eindconclusie: dit hotel is met haar ondermaatse performance veel te duur. Aanbevelingen : personeel receptie op cursus klantvriendelijkheid sturen en de kok zo snel mogelijk vervangen.

Heel vriendelijk personeel. Mooie kamers, gemoedelijke sfeer. Mooie omgeving en lekker eten en drinken. Kortom gewoon een top locatie waar je een fijne vakantie kan houden met je gezin. Ook is er vanalles te doen op een kleine afstand.

Sehr enntäuschend und wirklich nicht zu empfehlen. Zimmer sind zwar schön und das Personal auch freundlich. Preis-Leistung stehen jedoch in keinem Verhältnis. Zimmer waren kalt, Duschzelle leckte, kein warmes Duschwasser in der Nacht, teils schimmlige Stellen, Lärm von Bauarbeiten... usw.. Essen vom Buffet; Speisen waren teils nicht frisch. Käse und Fleisch angelaufen, Obst vertrocknet oder schrumpelig, Senf in der Schüssel auch angelaufen, "frischer" Orangensaft ist gestreckt... usw.. Unsere Tochter übergibt sich nun seit zwei Tagen. Wir haben auf diese Mängel hingewiesen und es besteht absolut keine Einsicht. Daher sind 400 Euro pro Nacht (2 Erw., 2 Kinder inkl. HP) einfach überteuert und den Preis absolut nicht wert!
