Antes de iniciar nuestro Safari, decidimos quedarnos una noche para poder descansar. Reservamos el standard room del 13 al 14 de julio y fue una de las mejores decisiones que tomamos. Desde que llegamos al hotel, el personal te recibe con el mejor servicio y durante toda tu estadía te trataran de igual manera. El hotel esta increíble! Todas las áreas verdes y la vista al lago lo hace especial. No la pasamos de lujo ya que fue nuestro primer día que empezamos a tener contacto con la naturaleza. Nos topamos a un grupo de monos (+20) que corrían y jugaban de un lado a otro. La comida también es muy buena. Comimos un original fish and ships y mi esposa casi no es tan fan del pescado pero le encantó. Durante la cena ella pidió una pasta la cual estaba buenísima y yo comí del buffet, el cual en realidad no recomendaría ya que ese día no tuvieron buenas opciones de comida. Termine pagando mas de lo que me hubiera salido pedir un platillo a la carta. Al día siguiente pedimos de desayuno un club sandwich el cual también estaba delicioso! Por lo que recomiendo amplia mente pedir a la carta. Por la mañana tuvimos un problema con nuestra regadera ya que no salia agua caliente sin embargo el personal estuvo intentando arreglarla desde que les comentamos y al final como nos teníamos que ir temprano nos dieron la opción de cambiarnos de cuarto. Por lo que tengan por seguro que les ayudaran con cualquier cuestión. Es muy seguro que el hotel va a cumplir con sus expectativas. Será una muy buena decisión si se hospedan en el. Nosotros nos arrepentimos de no reservar mas días.

This was a lovely and convenient place to stop along the way to the first destination on our Tanzanian safari. We were so tired and jet-lagged, and the staff was so warm and welcoming and understanding. In retrospect, we wish we could have stayed a day longer and done a walk around Lake Duluti. The sitting area outside the main building was delightful, and there were so many flowers blooming, birds singing, and baboons exploring! All of the employees were very friendly and attentive, especially the server at the bar who went out of his way to make us feel at home that afternoon. We enjoyed the dinner and the breakfast we were served (my food photos were of breakfast), and we had no problems with the beds, shower, or any other aspect of our room/hut. Everything is very well-maintained and sparkling clean. We enjoyed walking around the grounds and along the small jogging trail as well. We would very happily stay here again!

We only stayed in the Arusha Serena Hotel one night before we moved on to begin our Tanzania safari with Serena Hotels. Happy Ngaile was my contact with the hotel to coordinate the Tanzania 7 day safari. She is based in Arusha and stopped by to say hi at Dinner. She was very easy to work with and we loved the whole trip! The Arusha Serena is on a beautiful property, worth spending some time exploring more than we did. Our guide and driver for our entire trip also is based in Arusha, Olais. He was a fantastic!. He has been doing safari drives for a long time, and was never stumped with a question. He also likes to take photos, so he had a great eye for perfect pictures along the way.

This is a beautiful old coffee plantation estate turned into a hotel. The main building is the bar, reception, restaurant. The rooms are beautiful 'hut' dispersed around the property. We got there at midnight after traveling from Amsterdam and were surprised by a delicious hot meal! Our waiter, Zainab, cheerfully welcomed us to Arusha and Tanzania (karibu - welcome). All the meals were excellent, good selections of wine, all staff friendly and helpful. Grounds were beautiful with monkeys running around. One of the gardeners took us around to see their kitchen garden and 5 different kinds of bananas! Rooms beautifully appointed with mosquito netting, lots of hot water, beautiful view of the grounds. Wonderful place to recuperate from many plane rides.

A highlight of our stay at Arusha Serena was a very nice and knowledgeable young man named Praygod Mosses, who took us birding around the property. He is studying to become a birding guide, and is excellent at knowing the birds by sight and sound. Be sure to ask for him!!!

Arusha Serena Hotel Small enclaves of hotel rooms with a lovely dining area on a manicured campus, and portions of the grounds tier down to a small valley. Green everywhere. Nice, comfortable front area for relaxation with a libation. Substantial rooms on cement floors and the beds were comfortable and roomy. Attentive staff, respectful and efficient. Food was first cabin. We were guided by a young man who introduced us to an Arusha market, a scene that demands a local with experience. His name is Bill Patrick, now our new pen-pal.

We spent 2 nights here before heading off on safari. Rooms were great, decent food and amazing staff. Grounds were well kept and we had a walk around the gardens. Welcome drink on arrival. We didn’t go to the lake but could see in the distance, .

Great hotel and service . Very clean rooms, great food and service . Big garden. Stayed on two different occasions at this hotel. Both times , great! Great casita rooms and service! Great help About 1.30 hours from the KILI airport. Nice lake !!!
