Habíamos elegido una habitación junior suite de esquina con balcón amplio, con vista hacia sur y hacia el lago La habitación era muy amplia, la parte del salón era acogedor (con tv grandísima, por quien la necesite), escritorio grande. La cama era grande y cómoda, edredones y almohadas de pluma. El baño, con ventana grande y vista a las montañas también muy amplio con gran bañera y gran ducha. Armarios generosos. La decoración de todo el Hotel es moderna y a la vez muy acogedora. Los pisos son de madera. El restaurante es grande, pero dividido en diferentes zonas, las sillas muy cómodas y te sientes a gusto. Los platos que ofrecen son variados, siempre de excelente calidad. También tienen platos veganos. Los precios son altos. El desayuno es muy variado. Lo que no me gustó era que cortan el queso en lonchas ultra finas, se secan y las esquinas se doblan hacia arriba y se queda acartonado.. El parking (de pago) , tiene plazas grandes y tiene acceso directo a la recepción y/las plantas superiores. El gimnasio se ve muy limpio y moderno, tal como el Spa. No usé ninguno de ellos. Aparte de todas las comodidades, lo que hizo el Hotel un sitio para volver, era el buen ambiente relajado y amable que te rodea, y que se transmite a través de sus empleado/as. Muchas gracias! Destacable también la actitud positiva hacia nuestro perro, que era un huésped más, y siempre bienvenido, sea en el restaurante que en el salón. Muchas gracias por hacernos sentir bien.!

What a lovely hotel. Its very Eco, sustainable, very well positioned for both a walking holiday or a ski holiday and a short walk from the train station. The rooms were very clean and we had a lovely view of the mountains. Staff were super helpful and the day starts with a lovely breakfast buffet. Only downsides, the sitting area downstairs is very dark in the evening, and a big minus is that we asked for tap water at dinner and they charged 6 swiss francs for it, which was quite ridiculous as it is put in the rooms free of charge. We ate out after that and we were not charged in any other restaurants in Arosa for water. For a hotel promoting health and wellbeing tap water should be provided free of charge. However in spite of that we would definitely stay there again a lovely a**osphere, lovely people, nothing was too much trouble so thankyou for a fabulous stay.

Great setting. Good size rooms. Easy access from the station & to the lifts at the bottom of the Village. The lakeside setting is lovely and is probably even more attractive in the Summer. Food was good, the spa very nice indeed. Overall, we had a lovely few days and the experience was pretty special.

The location in Arosa is good - across the lake from the Weisshorn tram. The rooms are new and comfortable, and of good size. - including the balcony The bedding was especially good. The rooms overlooking the lake are better; the views can be a bit limited otherwise. The spa is fairly nice, with an indoor pool, two saunas, a relaxation room, and a yoga room. Though there is an outdoor lounge area, there is not an outdoor pool, nor are there hot pools. The breakfast was the worst we had in Switzerland, and the dinner was not much better. After the first day we grabbed breakfast items from the coop grocery store attached to the hotel (which is very convenient for other needs as well). Instead of eating dinner at their restaurant Twist, order the fondue brought to your balcony - that was very good and worked great with a group. The food is far below the standards of the other Tschuggen group hotel, the Grand Tschuggen, which is located further up the mountain. We ended up eating there instead of Twist (an easy free bus ride). For skiing, definitely pick the Grand Tschuggen - it is worth the extra cost.

Claudio and team took excellent care of us every moment of our stay. A truly unexpected and memorable experience. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. The service at reception and restaurant is very good. Claudio himself runs a number of activities in the local area, which are also very highly recommended - we ha d agreat time picking mushrooms and trying our the baked bread experience. AMAZING hotel, staff, rooms, experience, service, location and vibes. We came as a family with kids and this is our second time at Valsana. The hotel has only 40 rooms, so staff knows you by name and is responsive to any request you might have. Rooms are very modern, spacious and have everything you need. It’s a truly green hotel. They don’t even use plastic pens, only wooden pencils. The hotel manager Claudio is the kindest and most carrying hotel manager we have ever met. We wish every manager in every hotel was like this. He took us mushroom picking in the forest last time. Highly recommend it. The fitness and pool are top end. The sauna is the just place to be after a long day hiking or skiing. Breakfast is great and dinner menu is also worth exploring. We plan to be back next year.

Pro - super attentive service fast and helpful with tips like the local bus or a nice walk - Very roomy rooms with shower & bath with big sun terrace - Nice Spa and sauna facilities good to relax after a hiking or skiing - Location: Next door is a supermarket & train station is 5 mins walk away. Small Cons - entrance of the lobby is on the first floor and during the night you have to enter in the back of the building this is a bit confusing. - Quite a lot of light switches, took us a day to learn

We spent an amazing weekend at Valsana hotel. It started with a personal welcome by the hotel manager, who was there just in time for our arrival and greeted us by name. The service was perfection throughout...The staff was friendly, helpful, they took their time with each guest. The hotel is perfectly located, overlooking the lake and mountains and just a short walk from the train station. We stayed in the junior suite, which had a wonderful view, was very spacious and had all the necessary amenities. Things we loved: cozy a**osphere, record player in the room (very nostalgic), detail-oriented design mixing modern with retro elements, private fondue on the balcony (must try that!). My only regret was not visiting the spa, but I didn't feel like having yet another covid test (which you can have done at the hotel, btw) :) Our favourite spot was the sunny terrace - great menu and service, and wonderful a**osphere. The restaurant serves a variety of vegan, vegetarian and classical dishes. Whatever your preference, you can find it here! Can't wait to be back!
