Globales Marina apartments 10-17th July We had a very nice relaxing holiday during what was a very hot period in the Med. Below are some of our feedback from the holiday. Excellent: 1. Room aircon unit with remote control for various functions including ice cold and controllable👌best ever! 2. Staff are generally all as you would want. 3. Position of complex is ace, virtually next to a wonderful sandy beach with the crystal clear Med and a lively marina. 4. Jesus on check-in was awesome, he greets Welsh holiday makers with a few words of Welsh 👍 he also brought out a Welsh flag 😂 5. Maintenance immediately carried out. 6. Comfy beds and pillows. 7. Emailed complex for type of room and position and it was sorted. 8. WiFi across both sites was fast and dependable👌 9. No need to grab beds early this week. Plenty 9am onwards. Good: 1. Cleanliness of rooms, inside complex, restaurant and hotel. 2. Self service drinks at meal times are good. Sangria on tap was our lunchtime Tipple, add your own citrus fruit, we did to make it authentic. 3. White wine is ok especially with a dash of lemonade. Red and Rosè not so. Soft drinks are good. 4. Baileys copy is very good 5. Pleased with the food overall. Lunch Paella is a popular choice but being refreshed often. Huge wok of veggie stir fry which you could add your own meat or grilled fish. Plenty of choice. 6. My wife is a veggie and she ate very well, plenty f options, which is rare. 7. Main complain is that a lot of the food is left to chill - it’s not hot unless you get it fresh. Nice deserts. I don’t think we will go hungry?? Good salad options, basic items and prepared salads. Sushi on some days and other cold specialties near the bread. You definitely need to walk around at the start to decide what to have as it’s quite spread out. 8. Good Sun beds but could have a few more parasols. 9. Good pools towels for €10 deposit and €1 each change. 10. Gin and Tonic or bitter lemon is good, maybe add a cordial of your choice - lime etc 11. Bacardi is a strong tasting copy. Less of a shot and zero coke was our preference 🤷‍♂️ Ok: 1. Seating arrangements when entering dining room, queue but it moves as the managers and the table staff are on radio contact and they direct you to a seat at busy times. All very efficient. Other times you just walk in and choose your table. 2. Beer ok 3. Machine coffee is hit or miss depending on where the machine is. Ok when served in the Apotos but dreadful in the hotel bar in the evening. Choice - espresso topped up with hot milk at breakfast. Poor: 1. Too many tables in dining room/cafe, unable to navigate to food area. Don’t expect a restaurant vibe, this is a place to feed the many punters. 2. Drinks are mainly of a poor quality with only a Small selection of poor cocktails. 3. Some bar staff will try and copy a cocktail such as Pina colada but it’s just Malibu copy and pineapple juice (no cream of coconut in the mix) 4. No snacks available in apartment complex through t

We arrived late evening to be told our room was flooded but don't worry we will pay for taxi to take you to globales los delfines,no other option so off we went. While we were at los delfines we contacted tui and they manage to organise getting back to cala n bosch a few days later but the main block,ok with us. Also while in Los delfines we bumped into another 2 couples that we supposed to be staying in marina apartments their rooms flooded too !!!🤔 Marina apartments pool area nice and quiet with a great pool bar,just right for relaxing,pool area at main hotel is where the action is. Safe is paid per day plus deposit and towels are free just deposit, if you want to change its 1 euro. Restaurant food was ok not the best but not the worst all Inc we've had,my wife is more picky and struggled a bit.Food was slow to be replenished compared to other all Inc we've been too.Drinks were tidy. Evening entertainment poor,bravo team some nights running around speaking mainly Italian/french,we didn't have a clue what was going on. The area is fab with the marina, restaurants and shops one way,then right on the beach,the other way. All the staff generally great and friendly,very clean complex. It's about 1 hour 15 to 1 hour 30 on the coach depending on drop offs.

Going into this holiday I’d read almost all of these reviews and was quite wary of how my holiday was going to go. I couldn’t have been more wrong. The holiday was booked through Tui with an airport transfer. The bus was there ready when we arrived and dropped us right outside the apartments. The reception was closed so we walked over to Hotel Cala’n Bosch to check in and we were checked and had the key to our rooms within 20 minutes. We waited at the pool at the hotel with some drinks until we could get the keys. The rooms were very clean and well kept and the aircon was perfect in the room. Me and my sister even had to turn it off at some points because it was too cold despite the outside temperature being 30+°C. I’ve read that people had had issues with the outside air conditioning being hot and I had that too but I don’t think that’s actual air conditioning. Bathrooms were nice and always stocked with toilet paper. The reception staff were amazing, one day my sister and I left our key in the room on accident and it was removed by cleaning staff. We went to reception and they replaced both keys and changed the entry frequency so the old key(s) would no longer work for better security. Also left both keys in the room at one point (I know, I can’t believe it either) and the receptionist Jesus (same guy as before) was so helpful in getting me another key so I could get back in. The food is a mixed bag. There are some staples that you can’t go wrong with and the ribs and stews were always good. Some nights were disappointing but what can you do? Some people would have enjoyed those meals so I’m not going to judge. A lot of queue hopping from other europeans when waiting for pasta which was quite annoying but again, nothing you can do. Waiting staff were so kind and helpful, plates cleared away quickly and we never had an issue with waiting ages to get into the restaurant for food. The Bravo staff often stood outside to welcome you in which was a bit of a shock on the first day. This was the part I was possibly most worried about. I’d read so much about the staff ignoring you to focus on the French and Italian guests more but that could not have been more wrong. I don’t think I’ve ever felt more involved and welcomed into an area than i did here. Constantly greeted by bravo and Cala’n Bosch staff. Asked to get involved in the entertainment and activities by them and really made to feel welcome. Shoutouts to Aida, Lorenzo, Isacco, Pablo, and Alessia. Although a lot of entertainment wasn’t in English, most of it was translated and if it wasn’t you could easily get the gist of what was going on from just watching. The Bravo staff worked so hard to put everything together, I was told that they often stay up till 1/2am preparing. In my week there I only saw one staff member get a day off although half the holiday we did travel around Menorca visiting different beaches so i may have missed when other members had a day off but they work outrageously hard,

Staff excellent, location brilliant, rooms very clean and looked after. We had a week at this hotel, ideally placed for the marina and bus stop outside the hotel. The downside was that on the day we left the hotel was closing for the winter in early October. As the number of guests dropped so did the choice of food which was disappointing, what we had was good but it was the lack of choice of food why i scored a 4

The room was disappointing and a bit shabby, a lot smaller than the pictures which were deceiving. The food was decent but big queues for food at mealtimes and staff sometimes couldn’t renew the food fast enough. However the pools in the apartments opposite, where we spent most of our time, were lovely and clean. Staff all worked very hard and were polite and welcoming. The beach was lovely and really close to the hotel. The marina was just outside the hotel and that was a nice place to visit. A special thank you to Jesus on reception at marina apartments, he was so friendly and made the extra effort to welcome us in Welsh. All staff were friendly and hard working and a credit to the hotel. I would go here again but would book a bigger room :)

We stayed at the Globals Apartments Marina from the 23rd to the 30th of September, the hotel itself is on two sites one site is a standard hotel with its own pool and where the kids pool is located and is where all guests go to for their meals and where the entertainment bar is. We stayed on the other site which consists of apartments and a pool bar and also has its own pool area. The staff at the Marina are very kind and welcoming and always smile and speak to you when you see them. The hotel is very clean and tidy and our apartment was incredible we stayed in apartment 213 which is described as two apartments in one and that's exactly what it is, this was ideal as me and my boyfriend were travelling with my dad and step-mum so it meant that while we were together we all had our own space. On one side the apartment consisted of a large living/kitchen/dining area, a double bedroom and an on suite bathroom. The other apartment consisted of two bedrooms one with two single beds together and the other another double bed, a bathroom and a large living room/kitchen/dining area and both apartments were joined by a large wrap around balcony terrace with stunning views of the sea, the hotel pool and the entrance into the harbour we couldn't really fault the apartments they were clean and spacious although for me the bed was a little too firm I still managed to sleep fairly well. Literally the only problem with this hotel is the lift is tiny you can only get three people in it and it makes bringing luggage up and down a bit of a hassle. The food at the Marina apartments was lovely, we never had a bad meal and we never struggled to find something different! I do have one small complaint about the restaurant in the hotel and that was instead of individual salt shakers on the tables they put massive bowls of salt in the middle of the buffet and you had to go with a small plate and spoon the salt onto it for the table, this meant a lot of salt got waisted as you always ended up getting more than you needed and the cleaning staff who were on it like a car bonnet always took it away when you had finished!. The hotels main bar had entertainment every night, we only really saw this one night as we prefer to go out and explore the local area but on the night we did it was some sort of comedy act that was all in Spanish so as we couldn't understand it we were just all sat having a beer and chatting when one of the entertainers came over to our table and quite rudely told us to be quiet and when we explained that we didn't understand what he was saying because we were English he said "Why English?, No English, Go Outside!" which we found unnecessary but went and sat in the outside seating area anyway though it did make us feel a little excluded. Apart from that one incident we honestly loved our time at this hotel and in Cala N' Bosc itself the locals were all so friendly and welcoming.
