Solamente podemos recomendar este lugar en una casita vieja con un desayuno espectacular y también con un servicio muy agradable. Muy cerca del lago y a unos minutos de la estación. Las camas son cómodas y las habitaciones bastante grandes.

The room was fine, but the chief asset of the hotel is the superb cooking and gourmet cuisine. The chef is very good indeed. I had the lobster bisque followed by fish of the day which was monkfish. Excellent tarte tatin dessert.

Stayed one night, nice charming, very old building, family type small hotel with old but clean minimalist room, small basic bathroom. In my room window on the side of the street, occasionally noisy, especially if windows open. No A/C. Restaurent with nice small terrace is good but not extraordinary, good selection on the wine list. Everyone working was nice and polite. Very good breakfast. Would be perfect place at 160 Sfr. If must stay in that are for a night, probably best choice, anyway.

We stayed here as part of our self-guided cycle around Lake Constance. A beautiful hotel with friendly staff who went the extra yard to look after us. Breakfast was delicious and dinner in the restaurant first class! Would definitely recommend!

A very unique hotel in Arbon. The room was spotlessly clean and of a good size. Bed was comfortable but the duvets were very heavy for summer. No air conditioning in bedrooms so was warm. A fan was provided but it was noisy and had a bright blue light when in use which I found disruptive to sleep. On arrival there were no staff to greet you which was strange and you only spoke to someone through an intercom to gain access. It felt odd! We met the owners at breakfast for the first time in the morning and they were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.

We stayed for one night during a cycle trip around Lake Constance. The hotel is very authentic and charming, the owners and staff are extremely dedicated and committed to making the stay as comfortable as possible and breakfast was delicious (loved the truffles in the scrambled eggs). Rooms are comfy and spacious - one small suggestion for the future would be updating the bathrooms (the facility is very clean and has everything including a make-up mirror, but it’s a little dated and could use a “facelift”). Would highly recommend, for business travellers, couples and families!

This was our second visit to the Romerhof. As with the first trip, Dominique, Gerard and their staff make one feel appreciated and at ease. The restaurant is excellent with quality and taste. We had the menu with the associated wine suggestions; a pure delight. The rest of the menu at the restaurant is also worth trying as everything is sumptuous. We'll be back.
