The facility was clean and modern, but the shower didn't drain fully leaving a slippery puddle away from the drain hole. Housekeeping wasn't consistent. On separate occasions the mirror was left wet, the bins unemptied, the towel unchanged and the bed not made up properly. The programmable safe didn't open once locked, and the key card had to be reprogrammed to give access to the room. Once, while resting in my room in the early afternoon, someone tried to enter my room but the latch stopped them. I quickly checked outside, thinking it might have been housekeeping, but no one was there except someone - a burly obese island man in singlet, shorts and jandals - walking quickly around the corner. I believe it was another guest who'd somehow gained access to electronic access cards, and who was raiding other guest's rooms. It was after that incident that my key card failed to work, and I had to visit reception to get it reprogrammed. The staff were generally courteous and kind, but really only going through the motions to fulfil their role. No one stood out as loving the work they do. The egg station couldn't make poached egg. That had to come from the kitchen, and they had to boil the water first and it was an inordinately long wait. In a previous visit to Samoa, at a hotel in Savai'i, the egg station had a pan with simmering water for poached eggs, and they delivered poached eggs as quickly as any other style of egg. I visited other hotels for events around Apia on this visit. I'm now open to staying at other hotels after this visit.

WOW!!!! maravilloso lugar, habitaciones increíbles, personal excelente!! Le recomendamos quedarse aquí. Teníamos una relajada, lujosa descanso por una semana aquí. Todo el personal del resort fue muy amable, útil, amable, divertido y atento. La habitación tenía una vista increíble y siempre estaba bien servida. Las comidas y las bebidas eran grandes con opciones para dietas restringidas. Los desayunos eran grandes con una buena selección. Las piscinas eran tan agradables para relajarse junto a la playa y grande frente para el snorkeling y el deporte del agua.

Este hotel era como un hermoso equipaje para adultos y nos disfrutamos de esto. Las habitaciones estaban limpias, funcionales y tenían todas las instalaciones necesarias. Aunque un poco pequeña esto estaba bien. Nos quedamos en la habitación 8 abajo. Valía dinero. A la vista de la piscina, me gustaba la zona de comedor al aire libre, porque era un lugar amable para hablar con otros viajeros y compartir historias. La ubicación es buena, ya que sólo 5 minutos en coche del centro de la ciudad y en la carretera de la isla cruzada por el día que fuimos a la casa y jardines de Robert Louis Stevenson. El hotel está en el centro de la ciudad. La habitación de la habitación era muy agradable, pero no me gustaba nada. La recepción y las escaleras se encuentran en el centro de la ciudad, y las rocas están en el centro de la ciudad.

The worst accommodation experience we had during our entire visit to Samoa. Please do not book with them. Prior to booking, I checked the bad reviews and spotted a few that had me in two minds. However, I proceeded to book it due to the photos, location, advertising, price and the good reviews. We had booked a 'deluxe suite'. Well we arrived at 1030pm after a late flight in, was shown to our room by one of the cuzzys of the accommodation. We walked into a 1 double bed, 1 towel, stinky as all s@@t bathroom not to mention how dirty it was. So I gave it all a quick clean, went to the toilet...the toilet moved from under me as the whole bloody seat was broken. There wasn't alot we could do, so my partner 6ft4, my son and I all shared the bed and towel the next morning. Unfortunately, I had booked our final 3 nights there, long story short we had asked for a refund...we were told they would not charge for the first night and would discount it off the other 3 nights. To their defence, they apologized for the 'mishap', however we wanted a full refund of the other 3 nights as we did not want to come back....another long story short...we have been told that there will be no refund. We are staying at another hotel, while paying for moatoga. I'm so ropeable,don't do it to yourselves. It's a dive! I wish I had taken photos!

Estaba solo una noche porque teníamos negocios para asistir a Upolu. El desayuno era muy bueno. El personal estaba agradable y la habitación estaba limpia. El hotel está situado en una zona de 3 estrellas, en la que se encuentran 3 habitaciones. Las villas de jardín se mantuvieron mal y necesitaban un poco de amor (televisores no funcionan, cono no funcionan, falta de cabeza de ducha, cerraduras de puertas inseguras) los otros 2 se mantuvieron mejor, pero también podían hacer con algunas TLC como la piscina. Muchos positivos pero atención a los detalles con cosas como la leche para el té y el café y 24 horas de acceso al agua potable, champú y condicionador en cada habitación (algunos no tenían uno de cada uno y otros 2). La ubicación es excelente y la base es bastante cómoda.

No puedo decir lo increíble que fue nuestra experiencia en Saletoga Sands. Nos esperabamos cosas “buenas” pero no “grandes” debido a los efectos posteriores de la codicia. Pero oh me equivoqué. Mi novia organizó una cena privada con Villy la primera noche que llegamos. Pina era nuestra hermosa cafetería para la noche y se fue de su camino. No tenía idea de que mi compañero vaya a proponer y Pina capturó toda la propuesta para nosotros en vídeo. La habitación era muy moderna y nos sentimos muy cómodos. El océano estaba a unos 50 metros de nuestra habitación. El equipo de snorkel y kayaking es libre de prestar y los chicos en el barco vayan a la milla extra para ayudarle. El rey estaba en nuestra puerta y era hermoso con una gran variedad de peces. Recomendaria sin duda alquilar un coche, ya que hay muchos lugares para visitar fuera del resort. Eso es lo que hicimos y realmente hicimos el máximo de cada día. Sin embargo, si no quieres hacerlo y quieres quedarse en el resort hay mucho que puedes hacer en el resort. Salón por la piscina, deportes acuáticos, gimnasio, etc. El resort también realiza varias visitas diarias. La noche de FiaFia no podía recomendarnos lo suficiente, un grupo tan talentoso y la comida era sorprendente. El hotel está en una situación increíble. El personal está haciendo un trabajo increíble y merece reconocimiento. Gracias a la equipo de Saletoga por contribuir a una de las semanas más sorprendentes de nuestras vidas.

We stayed at Sinalei Reef Resort for a few nights after a horrible experience at the Tanoa Hotel in Apia. Our initial thoughts were to escape the issues we had at the Tanoa Hotel of Dirty Rooms, Rude staff, Poor Food menus and Rude staff. We had looked on line and reviewed Sinalei as a place we could indulge in before flying back to Fiji on our way back to Sydney. How wrong were we to choose Sinalei. Not only was it triple the price per night but fell way below our expectations. Where do I start on the negatives........We arrived, took an hour for them to check us in, lady that checked us in was pleasant but had no idea on time, we were then handed our Key, they had no electronic keys to rooms, we found our way to a beach bungalow, gardens were nicely manicured but the room was DATED, DATED, very old and in need of a refurbishment, for he prices they charge this was not HIGH END, MORE 2 STAR. Ive travelled the world with my wife and this was below par. Im big on fresh crisp linen but am afraid Sinalei had old duvets, old pillows which you could smell the mustiness of the previous guest, pillows were old, mouldy. Sheets old as well as seemed they had Been there for years on end. Open aired tower was full of mosquitos and at night where you had the lights on in the room attached an array of colourful insects including centrerpedes and millipedes. Pool area was lovely and fresh. Bar service at Uncle Harrys bar was poor, had to go up each time and ask the bar staff to serve you a drink, much of the Time they were playing Island music which was fine but if your paying top dollars you would expect decent service. We at all our meals here, not bad but not fresh either. I had the steak and my partner the fish on our first night, both items were not fresh at all. Took nearly two hours for the mains to come and were were one of three couples dining. Next day we had breakfast and I ordered the eggs scrambled, Im pretty sure the eggs were pre powdered eggs as this did not taste like scrambled eggs. On our last day we met the owner as he said he was, my partner food him very sleezy, elderly chap who took more attention to her then our comments and views on how he could better the resort. Overall a nice setting but rooms need a major upgrade, major as it is not 5 start but more 2 star, service needs a major overhaul as does the POOR FOOD. Dated................and NOT WORTH THE MONEY THEY ARE CHARGING.

I would like to thank the lovely staff at the insel Furman for making my frist trip too samoa, with lovely friendly people eg. Patricia and tumama with your lovely welcome every morning and the lady's who do the house keep 4x stars too you guys room are lovely and clean eg. Elina and table.then the great service and food at the restaurant great work guys .would all so the the night guards always friendly in the morning after working all night you guys have made my frist visit to this beautiful place so much more enjoyable thank you again
