I was in Ankara for a week on business at the Days Hotel. This is my honest review. Just I add that for some reason this hotel is ‘by Wyndham’ but the one week point collection stay was not added to my Wyndham rewards membership for some reason unknown to me. Most of the men working at the front desk and breakfast area are smokers. They stand in front of the main entrance smoking and when they walk into the lobby it smells like cigarette smoke. I stayed in Room 306 for a week. The first 2 days, the same song was on repeat in the entire general area and restaurant of the hotel. Butterfly by Maria & Whitney. They might need a new ‘hotel dj”. They did change this after I mentioned it to the lady at reception. Gizem at reception is amazing. She was very helpful with arranging transport, check-in and tourist information. At breakfast there is a fresh open buffet with an Automatic Coffee machine, the machine makes nasty instant bitter coffee and since the day I arrived it was not serviced, I asked the man and lady at the breakfast area why there is no hot chocolate and they said the service man doesn’t show up. That coffee machine needs maintenance service but no one seems to care. The servers offer filter coffee but I prefer and expected a Wyndham group hotel to have espresso type coffees. The butter in the buffet corner sits outside in room temperature without any kind of cooling. As stated on the label, the maximum temperature it should be stored at is 4 Celsius. The breakfast room temperature is about 20 Celsius. The breakfast overall is traditional Mediterranean buffet. It is acceptable for this business hotel. Yeter, the cleaning lady was very intelligent and had common sense. She even organized my cosmetics. The bed, towels and sheets are lovely clean and in good condition. The TV does not have screen casting and barely any English channels so if you want to watch Netflix bring your own HDMI cable and laptop. If you get lucky the WiFi in the hotel room might work. The Wi-fi at this hotel is unstable. As you can see in the photos, you enter your ID # and room #. I had to do this 5-6 times while getting cut off every 2-3 hours each day. In the evenings the wifi is very weak, impossible to have international video calls. At night after 12 the internet connection is completely cut off. I had trouble conducting video calls with the USA and Portugal. Yalin at the night shift reception could not help as he said the internet service man is not available so he could not fix the wifi problem. The reception & lobby (work area) has a completely different wifi system. Obviously the internet gateway company is not good. The Days Hotel claims to be a business hotel but I was disappointed with this wifi internet hassle every day and every night. You can not depend on this hotel for Wifi and internet reliability. The best points were the excellent room with the comfortable bed and the prime location.

Estado por 11 días: Hotel hermoso que es super limpio y cómodo. Los chocolates frescos para morir, hecho en el hotel! La decoración de los chatellers es increíble. Los restaurantes fueron deliciosos con muchos platos sanos Salmon noodle (eristeli salmón) y o kavurma (herbíes fritas y verduras) eran mis favoritos. Bañera masiva, constantemente comprobada para limpieza. Olvidé mis pantalones de pantalones de pelo en la habitación pero me dio un par de cepillos gratis como una habitación cortesía era super cómoda la cama era masiva y tan relajador( creo que el duvet era de las piernas de la manta y la matraca era muy espesa y ergonómica) La habitación era muy limpia y muy suave. Area de trabajo: muy bien pensado y cómodo. Pude entrar desde el trabajo desde la estación de trabajo Secador: Recogida y entregada al personal de recepción de la habitación fueron muy útiles. Внезапно оказалось что отель в центре города. В 600 метрах Старбакс и напротив него SR Doner – очень вкусная шаурма. В полутора километрах замок Анкара. Завтраки не разнообразные, так себе, но есть можно. Вроде бы бесплатно чай наливают в течение дня по запросу в баре на первом. Но рядом был Старбакс, ходил туда за апельсиновым соком и латте.

This hotel is very well situated for the old town of Ankara. The check in process was fast and easy. The hotel look modern and well kept. The Room was good and comfortable, unfortunately the location of the hotel is in a busy main street in the centre of Ankara, so the noise from traffic is very loud even in the high floors, the hotel may have rooms that are more quiet, but ours was not one of those. Breakfast was a decent Turkish breakfast, but a coffee latte was extra charge. The service was good in general. Overall the hotel is a good choice, and if you get a quiet room then, is a excellent choice in the centre of Ankara.

Este Radisson es como todos los de la cadena, estándar, da igual si uno se acuesta en Ankara porque, de puertas adentro, todo es lo de siempre: limpio y práctico. En mi caso, la habitación 507 era bastante espaciosa, aunque el baño no; de hecho, la ducha era un poco claustrofóbica. En cualquier caso era una habitación bastante silenciosa (no se pueden abrir apensas las ventanas). Lo mejor del hotel es, sin duda, su localización. Creo que no hay muchos en esta zona de similares características y ubicación muy cerca de la plaza Ulus, es decir, en lo que era el centro antes de la expansión de la ciudad. Desde el hotel se puede ir andando (cuesta arriba) a la ciudadela perfectamente. Al imprescindible Museo de las Civilizaciones de Anatolia, como mucho, se tarda media hora yendo lento. No es un hotel para recordar, salvo por su practicidad a la hora de recorrer el casco viejo de esta ciudad. Llamémoslo 100% FUNCIONAL.

This hotel is ideal for anyone coming to Ankara looking to stay in a comfortable and modern hotel that is located in a good part of the city and close to many attractions, recreational avenues and restaurants as well as walking distance from a vibrant part of Ankara known as Kızılay. The entire staff is very friendly and ready to assist throughout the day. The whole atmosphere of the hotel is very relaxed and the rooms are quite spacious and tastefully decorated. My biggest concern whenever I travel is the cleanliness of the room and the rooms in this hotel are definitely very clean and the standard seems to be consistently maintained. They also have Starbucks available in the hotel which is another plus point for days when you just want to grab some coffee and don’t want to go too far. The breakfast buffet is pretty good with a mix of Turkish delicacies and other continental items. The service is fast and everyone is very attentive as well. They have a great seating section spread over 2 floors and even a small space outside for the cooler months which is great. The hotel is located in the Embassy district so if you’re coming to Ankara for any official work or to apply for visas, it’s advisable to stay near the embassy in case you need to go back and forth for documents or any printing/photocopying services which the hotel is also able to assist with. I think all the major embassies situated in Ankara are within 7-15 minutes away from the hotel. Holiday Inn hotels are always good value for money and this one certainly is worth your time and money if you want affordable luxury accommodation in the capital city! Would definitely recommend it to all types of travelers going to Ankara in the near future

We stayed at this hotel with my children and hosted a dinner for our broader family. We were greeted by very friendly hotel personnel and very quickly checked into our rooms. In the evening, we hosted our family dinner. The buffet dinner was very rich and delicious. Although we were a crowded group our waitress was very attentive and we all had great time during the dinner. In the morning, again the buffet was very rich and egg station was excellent. Moreover the hotel has an excellent location close to several shopping malls and the business district. For sure will come back there again.

A la llegada al albergue vimos un signo de que el alojamiento era posible a partir de las 8:00. Arrivamos al albergue a las 7:00, esperamos una hora. En 8.10 nadie abrió la puerta, luego un hombre salió, dijo que estaba aquí sólo descansando, la administración no está todavía, pero pronto debería venir. Esperado 15 minutos la niña llegó, comenzó el asentamiento. La habitación era pequeña, en el interior era sucia, aparentemente el suelo estaba sabido, pero en los rincones, bajo la cama y en el lado y detrás de la cama, bajo el radiador nadie se lavaba ni siquiera se lavaba polvo y basura allí. En el baño, el pelvico es negro en las cuerdas, en el duche y en los rincones. El mezclador en las cubiertas está roto, el agua fluye en las cubiertas en los lados y fluye de algún lugar desde el fondo, la puerta de las cubiertas también está colgada, no hay ganchos para las toallas. La puerta es muy fuerte, la puerta es tan fina y todo el mundo puede oír quién camina por el pasado.
