The check-in was the most problematic part. I hadn't received any instructions from the host (also not in spamfolder) how to unlock the entry gate to the property. It was already getting dark and the host was also not reachable by telephone. Monica from Trip customer service eventually managed to forward the necessary entry codes to me (many thanks for the assistance!). ++ The room was spacious and convenient, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom and toilet were clean and there were enough towels. For those who like to watch TV: a huge flatscreen with plenty of channels. The shared patio with a little swimming pool is very nice with beautiful sea view. The property is quietly situated at a 15 minute walk from the centre of Angra. -- No written instructions (e.g. WiFi password) or general information (amenities) available. There are shared facilities in the property and the kitchen can be used for preparing meals (self catering). Although the reservation mentioned breakfast included, there was no fresh bread brought in. Not the end of the world but better not mention it as an option. Also unclear if items in refrigerator belong to other guests (self caterers) or are for general use so we didn't touch any. The host was not available by telephone for questions and also never responded to my initial calls on the day of check in. The room was in the basement and from time to time some smell from the sewer pipes lingers in the room.

My partner and I stayed at the Angra Marina Hotel late November 2023. The Hotel was located in Angra Do Heroismo overlooking Mount Brazil and the harbor. IT was a perfect location for our walking adventures and we took in the beautiful city of Angra Do Heroismo enjoying the local beauty of the town, the cafes, shops and of course the wonderful Christmas lights displaying the festivities of what was to come later in the month The front desk staff were wonderful, accommodating and the hotel's comfort and restaurant and breakfasts were great and we began our day in the beautiful dining room and end of day the comforts of our very nice hotel room. We could not have found a better place for our stay in Terceira as we journeyed from there to Lisbon and Porto but retained the wonderful memories of or stay at the Angra Marina Hotel! IT was wonderful!

Acabada de regressar de uns dias passados neste hotel que tem uma boa localização , quartos espaçosos e limpos ,um bom pequeno almoço e staf profissional e simpático. Enfim , tudo para tornar a estadia dos hóspedes quase perfeita não fosse o atendimento na recepção tão mal preparado e sem nenhuma apetência para proporcionar bem estar aos hóspedes. Porque o trnsfer para o aeroporque quando da saída era ao final do dia pedimos na recepção para sair do quarto mais tarde mediante pagamento claro.Então o recepcionista diisse que o hotel estava lotado e tinha hóspedes a chegar portanto tinhamos que sair até às 12h00.Porque não achamos a explicação convincente fizemos uma marcação pelo Booking de mais uma noite,,curiosamente os quartos estavam em promoção o que indicia que não estavam lotados.Ficamos realmente no quarto mas foi lamentável a actuação do empregado.Vim embora sem vontade de voltar a este hotel.

The location is just perfect, in the main square of the town. All attractions are easy to reach. My room had the balcony towards the wonderful municipal garden, so the atmosphere was very quiet, with just the birds singing all day long. The staff is very kind and helped me every time when needed. The only less satisfactory point was the breakfast: every day the same, the warm food was not so warm and, even more disappointing, no vegetable except for a few lettuce leaves and some fried tomatoes. Nothing else...

This is a beautiful hotel, centrally located in Angra but with piss poor customer service. We contacted them ahead of time to warn them of our late check in and received no response. We arrived after midnight and called the hotel multiple times as taxis were sparse at the airport...no one answered. We arrived and received multiple comments that they hadn't expected 5 people despite the fact that this is clearly written on the reservation and the sofa beds/linens were not prepared. At 2 am we switched rooms for the clerk's Convenience as she had a crappier room with a sofa bed set up. Once we started to settle in we realized this room did not have a working lock and actually had to move all of our belongings AGAIN to another room. At Check out when asked about our experience we disclosed all of the above. They admitted the reservation included all of the information but we still were offered nothing except defensive excuses. The breakfast was below average with similarly crappy service. Will never stay here again.

Estuvimos alojados en una habitación Ocean View, en la segunda planta con unas vistas maravillosas del Monte do Brasil, la piscina, los jardines y el océano. Un 10 en la calidad del sueño. Tranquilidad absoluta. La cama muy cómoda, sábanas suaves, el baño muy funcional, buen secador de pelo y el gel de baño, el champú y el jabón de manos con un aroma a limón delicioso. El hotel está a 12 minutos andando de la ciudad de Angra y tiene una piscina infinita que en verano tiene que ser una gozada bañarse con esas vistas tan increíbles, también tiene piscina interior climatizada. El buffet del desayuno muy rico y variado, el yogur natural con miel de la zona, el bizcocho casero y la variedad de ricos quesos. Tienen parking gratuito exterior. Muy amables en la recepción, nos ayudaron en todo momento. Estuvimos muy a gusto. Volveremos.
