I had a very unpleasant experience with this hotel, which was arranged by Malaysia Airlines after our flight was canceled. While I understand that the hotel may have been under pressure due to the large number of guests arriving at once, the behavior of the manager was completely unprofessional. Upon arrival, we were given a double bed room for four people with no extra bedding. When I politely requested additional bedding, the manager responded dismissively, telling me I should be thankful we even had a room. He also mentioned he hadn’t been paid yet and may charge us in the morning, which created further confusion. Despite explaining that the room had been arranged by the airline, he refused to help and instead suggested I take the matter up with them. At one point, he even made a threatening comment about throwing our luggage out, which was both alarming and uncalled for. I understand the hotel was under pressure, but this level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. I ended up having to sleep on the sofa, as there were no other options. Despite contacting the airline multiple times, no one provided any assistance, and the only response was an apology, which didn’t help our situation at all. I truly hope the hotel management takes this feedback seriously, as the behavior displayed was not only unhelpful but also rude and threatening. I believe the manager’s actions reflect poorly on the hotel’s reputation, and I hope no other guests have to experience such treatment in the future.
