Wow. Excellent hotel. Les chambres sont belles, lits confortables. Certaines chambres ont un bain, et elles sont munies d'un coffret de sureté. Il est très bien situé à quelques minutes en voiture du centre d'Amboise. Le personnel est toujours prêt à vous aider. Le buffet est varié et très bon. Le stationnement est grand et a beaucoup de place et l'entrée est fermé par un grillage la nuit.

The location is quite close to town, plenty of free parking spaces and the staff are very helpful, but the down side is the aircon is not working properly, especially during the heatwave when it was 36 degrees for the whole week, luckily the very helpful young man at the reception managed to find a fan for us to get through those hot nights.

Great location Very friendly staff Hotel clean and tidy Great facilities Good standards throughout Value for money Large clean and secure car park Was a perfect nights stay at this delightful hotel. We walked into Amboise in the evening, and had a day at the chateau in the morning. Would recommend.

Chose this hotel as a comfortable stopover on a long journey. The free, secure parking was a major factor in our decision. As another reviewer mentioned, the hotel is located in a characterful old house, so the rooms might be smaller that people expect. Ours was pleasant if a little on the compact side. The breakfast was fine, if perhaps a little more expensive than in some other hotels. One thing that surprised us was the notice on each table reminding guests not to take away any food! Is that really necessary? The hotel is a little way out of town, so it's a bit of a walk to the city centre. One issue is that some of the route is on narrow pavements by the main road. That said, there are taxi numbers on the map the hotel hands out. That could be a better option for getting to and from the city centre.

This is a really lovely hotel - all the windows and doors were open when we stayed during hot weather so the place was light and airy. The staff are really helpful and welcoming. Our room looked out onto the terrace and garden area where guests can have a drink and or something to eat. The breakfast offered a lot of choices and was very good quality. If you have never been to Amboise before it is a beautiful place with plenty to see and do but there is very little in the way of public transport and we struggled to get a taxi back to the train station. Depending on how quickly you walk the hotel is about a 25 minute walk into the centre which is beautiful.
