Hotel Burja

This is an estate within a small village outside of Alwar not far from Sariska. The staff always went out of their way to be helpful and were always very courteous. Stayed in a de luxe room which was very comfortable. The building as a whole was beautiful with lots of paintings and fine architectural detail and within the rooms. food was excellent and best tandoori chicken I’d had in a long time. Really enjoyed our stay it was extremely pleasant. Thank you

We stayed at the property on weekend, food was very good, property is also well maintained & staff also listens to all of your requests, pool at property is also well maintained, ample parking, Sariska Tiger reserve n Siliserh lake in vicinity.

good place to stay in Alwar. stayed there with my family. The property is very well maintained and has a restaurant with authentic Rajasthani food. the ambience of the rooms and property is very good. highly recommended

We have booked this haveli after seeing the photographs of it online. Gladly this place has given us much better experience than my expectation.A wonderful stay with beautiful Rajasthan style interiored rooms with beautifully curated landscape garden.you can spend the evening with folk song performed by local artists with a glass of red wine. Yes they have a bar as well. Food is delicious .the rasathani dishes are must try . courteous staff and wonderful service .A must visit if you are looking for a comfortable and peaceful stay.one more thing I must mention that the owner Mr.Lakshya Singh is a very generous fellow. He has helped us in all possible ways .A big thank you sir🙏

We have just had 6 days in Burja haveli near Alwar and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The hotel ***ager had a very good com***d of English and took care of our every need. Our room was light filled, comfortable and well maintained and we slept well. We enjoyed the food which was Indian style and of very good quality (especially the fingerchips) and loved the beautiful old building and the way it has been beautifully restored and maintained by its ancestral family who made us feel very welcome. . The surrounding gardens, pool and outside spaces are tranquil and calming. It is close enough to the town of Alwar for day trips for experiences of architecture nature and wildlife.

A beautiful property just on the outskirts of Alwar, about 20 minutes to the city. So you can get access to Alwar, but still live in the peace of the village. Very beautifully done interiors and ambience, especially the Restaurant and Bar. The staff were all courteous and efficient. Food was delicious, with a decent range in the buffet as well. The property is divided into two segments by a village road, so that's one issue, but doesn't really matter if you can ***age a little walk. They could improve on the Room Service, because every time I tried calling, nobody answered. They're usually roaming about here and there, and you mostly have to get a hold of them in person to get what you need.

Myself and a friend have just spent 6 days at Burja Haveli. This is a beautifully restored family haveli about 7 ks south of Alwar Rajasthan. The courtyard for sitting and eating their delicious food especially at night was most a**ospheric. It is within a small village. It is ideally located for exploring Alwar. All the staff were friendly and responsive to our every need especially Lakshay a family member (250 years in this family) and Vaibhav, reception ***ager and english speaker. There are also extensive gardens and cottages for large groups.

Its an old heritage haveli on the outskirts of Alwar city. Place is well maintained by owner who stays in same haveli. Met him in morning in lawn area. Nice and suave person. Staff is good. Try bejar roti cooked on chulha. The taste is something you can't get in LPG burner cooked roti. There is a huge green area though a road separates it from main building. They don't serve food in green area though it would be good if they can make some arrangement for it. The property is worth the tariff. Would recommend it to people visiting Alwar.
