"Nos alojamos una noche en el hotel de hielo, hicimos esculturas de hielo durante el día de nuestra estancia y cenamos el menú degustación. El personal fue fantástico y muy amable; un agradecimiento especial a Ida de recepción, a Philip y Romain, así como a Nathan, Magnus y Maria del restaurante. Fuimos entre semana, durante el invierno, y estaba muy tranquilo. Pasamos tiempo en el vestíbulo principal y en la sala de estar con chimenea, ya que no se puede acceder a la habitación en el hotel de hielo hasta las 20:00. No había mucho que hacer fuera de las actividades programadas y el vestíbulo principal es muy silencioso; no se oía bien la música que estaban poniendo. Cenamos el menú degustación con maridaje de vinos. El maridaje de Magnus fue muy bueno y las copas generosas, pero en general la comida no estaba a la altura del precio. El hotel de hielo fue una experiencia genial y dormimos de maravilla. Disfrutamos de la sauna incluida al día siguiente. El desayuno buffet incluido estuvo muy bien. Pedimos prestadas raquetas de nieve y las usamos en los senderos que rodean la propiedad, lo cual fue genial, ya que están bien señalizados y mantenidos. En resumen, no te quedes a medias: si te interesa alojarte en el hotel de hielo, invierte el dinero extra en añadir actividades, asegúrate de estar en contacto con la naturaleza o planea llegar más tarde por la noche. De lo contrario, podrías quedarte sentado mucho tiempo."

"The Canyon Hotel in the small town of Alta, though I only stayed one night, left a very deep impression on me. It had exceptionally beautiful scenery and created many memories. I experienced the midnight sun this time, and I hope to see the aurora borealis next time. Thank you to the Canyon Hotel for its facilities and service."

"Flatmoen Natural is a wonderful place to visit but an absolute treasure of a place to stay. Our cabin was cosy, modern and well equipped with incredible views in all directions (including skywards!). Having our own hot hub was an amazing way to unwind after our daily adventures in the surrounding area. For added relaxation we used the brand new sauna (you book a 2-hour block for private use) which is an undiscovered gem with its own panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Johnny delivered a delicious home-cooked breakfast to our cabin every morning which we enjoyed while taking in the spectacular scenery. Some people may prefer an on-site restaurant but this was a daily delight before starting our day. On our last evening we joined the Northern Lights sleigh tour experience from the farm. We were guided on a memorable trip by Leo who was very knowledgable about the farm, the horses and the local area and people. We were not lucky enough to see the Lights on our trip but had an amazing time nonetheless, sharing stories around the fire while Leo cooked us a delicious meal in the open air. Would thoroughly recommend Flatmoen Natur as a destination that combines a touch of luxury with the beauty and tranquility of Finnmark and the warmest of welcomes from Johnny and Levi."
