The Falcon Hotel

The Falcon Hotel was a fantastic place for my girlfriend and I to take a romantic getaway. The cozy interior of the hotel made us feel relaxed and wanting to spend time in the different areas reading or playing board games. The restaurant was phenomenal with the food providing diverse tastes in delicious arrangements. All the staff was very friendly and attentive. The town of Sandvig is beautiful town with cozy cafés and interesting hikes nearby. We loved the sauna in the small Harbour!

We come here every year on our family trip to Bornholm, and it never disappoints. Great food at fair prices, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere. We love starting with a glass of wine in the sun on the terrace and a game in the garden. Always a highlight for all ages.

The staff, the location, the service, the food, the facilities, the easy access to the beach & the clean, spacious & comfortable room, everything was top! I stayed in Bornholm as part of my cycling trip & The Falcon was just perfect to relax after 100's of Kms on the road. There is a locked indoor "parking" for bicycles, as well as a sauna, exactly what is needed for sore legs! A special thank you to Teva & Lorenzo who has shown what personalized, professional & warm service is about! As well as Stine from the reservation's side, who has been very helpful booking my stay & accomodating everything that was needed. Looking forward to my next trip already!

Bold I would say. To be different in a world where everything seems to be printed. When everyone seems the same, to stand out in a completely different style means courage. The services are top class. The staff is kind and welcoming. We had dinner and everything was in place. Speed of service, superior quality of the dishes. Impeccable service. I recommend it to everyone who wants to try something new and different!

We've visited Allinge several times and have always been very satisfied with the service and accommodation we've received at the various hotels we've stayed. Nordlandet, Næsgården, Badehotellet. All wonderful. But let's try The Falcon this time we said to ourselves. We were not disappointed, we absolutely loved it !! The staff were absolutely brilliant. The food too. It's a bit of a special place, a bit quirky for some perhaps - with it's very own personality. Definately not run-of-the-mill. We found The Falcon Perfectly Charming :) We will definitely be back sooner rather than later :):)

This hotel has a compelling vibe, and I do recommend you to opt for it for a stay on Bornholm. The bed is second to none - sleep quality is probably the best I’ve experienced in a hotel. Breakfast is good, and the 24/7 free coffee is a big plus. The sitting areas inside and outside are nice. Staff is welcoming and helpful. Reason why this is not a five star rating is the bathroom. Other reviews has pointed it out: it’s is (too) small, and the shower solution simply is disqualifying; the cabin is open to the toilet and floor, resulting in a soaking wet toilet and sprayed floor after showering. I for one simply don’t get why the hotel doesn’t equip the cabin with some kind of door to eliminate this issue. There are plenty of solutions out there for narrow space scenarios

The hotel is located on the main road through Sandvig-Allinge and it offers free parking. We booked 3 nights in the middle of the week in August (Dkr 4224 including breakfast). I made the mistake booking directly with the hotel asking for sea view and a terrasse. What we got was a tiny room (room 35) and the bathroom the smallest I have ever seen. The bathroom was a wet room, which means that when taking a shower, one is unable to avoid spraying the toilet etc. The whole room was wet afterwards. The amenities were poor. No conditioner and no cotton buds. The small room had so many decorating cushions and other stuff, which made it feel even smaller. We could see bits of the sea when standing up in the room. Very poor lighting made it impossible to read at night. The room had a strange mouldy smell, which was still in our clothes after we left. Our terrasse was not private and there were no chairs. Instead, there was steps leading straight up to all the rooms which meant, that people looked straight into our room when climbing the steps. Apart from the disappointing room, the décor of the hotel itself is absolutely stunning and breakfast was nice. It would have been perfect if the bread roles had not been bake-off. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We did not feel our room was value for money.
