Hoteles cerca del ElSayada Amnna Mosque, Alejandría

El personal fue muy útil y acomodable. La ubicación es excelente a pie a las tiendas, restaurantes y el corniche y su tráfico :( La cama era muy cómoda y la presión del agua fuerte en la ducha. ¡La noche fue un buen toque y nos presentó a algunos vinos egipcios que compramos después de probarlos :) El entorno y los antigüedades fueron hermosos y el ascensor fue como un paso atrás en el tiempo a otra era ....lo adoraba! El wi fi funcionaba mucho mejor que el resto de Egipto :) Pero, el fumar fue permitido en el hogar y increíblemente en el restaurante ......Nunca sabías cuándo alguien se levantaría al lado de ti cuando estabas comiendo!!!! Vamos, chicos, este es el siglo XXI.....no creí que todavía había lugares en el mundo donde se puede fumar cuando otros están comiendo o tan mal .....todos los que entran o salen del hotel deben pasear por los fumadores ....por qué no colocar un área en el primer piso ¿Eso es sellado para que el humo no pueda ser inhalado por nosotros pobres asma?? ¿Habría sido mejor si no hubiese una política de humo y el desayuno se mejoró ....it era bastante ordinario.

El hotel es muy ventajoso, está ubicado en la plaza del centro de la ciudad y es muy conveniente para comer e ir de compras. Está cerca del Fuerte Quebei, la Biblioteca de Alejandría, Pompeya y las catacumbas. La estación está a 2 kilómetros, y abajo está la agencia de WEST Coach. La decoración es sencilla y elegante, y la habitación es relativamente grande.

The room photograph and description (1st floor 28 square metres) did not match the actual room allocated (4th floor. 18 square metre).. This is illegal in many countries, but apparently not for this hotel. The duty manager of the day was prepared to allocate a better room, but only at an extra charge. I was not happy with this so did not pay extra. Breakfast was pleasant. Lovely view. Attentive waiting staff. Location excellent. The windows of the hotel ground floor facing the sea were disgraceful. Peeling paint Abandoned empty decorating containers, food waste. Lazy maintainance and lack of pride. Clearly nobody is checking or following up. This could be a great hotel, but is a now a reminder of indifference and apathy. The check out manager was more helpful and offered an upgrade should I visit again. However both parties know that is unlikely. I filled in the hotel questionnaire recording these issues. I hope it gets to the right person. The attached photograph shows the much nicer room and embellished description in the advert. Clearly all photos and measurements need to be updated so they actually match the rooms that are being sold. Since I expressed my concerns on 20 march 2023, there has been no update.

El hotel no fue elegido por mi, sino por la agencia turística con la que contraté el paquete conjunto de mi visita a Egipto: nada que objetar, pues tratándose de un Sheraton se presume un cierto grado de calidad, al amparo del nombre de esta cadena semi prestigiosa. Llegué a Alejandría en tren desde El Cairo, y al hotel sobre las 11 pm. Me sorprendió su ubicación, en el absoluto extremo de la célebre Corniche, a más de 15 kms del centro, con un tráfico infernal. Alrededor no hay nada, ni tiendas, ni restaurantes ni vida: lo último que desea y necesitas un turista en una ciudad nueva para él. especialmente para una estancia corta (dos días en mi caso). Desde fuera se aprecia un edificio de gran altura, con aspecto descuidado que revela su mal mantenimiento. Me ofrecieron la habitación 1316. Desde que entré advertí que estaba mal ventilada e, inmediatamente, observé grandes manchas oscuras en la tapicería de la silla y de la butaca. Di la vuelta al cojín del sillón: igual o peor. Llamé a recepción. Me cambiaron el cojín de la butaca por otro igualmente sucio. Rehusé el cambio de la silla. En el cuarto no había wifi y para poder usar mi móvil tuvieron que subirme un amplificador. Quise cenar, pero los dos restaurantes del hotel estaban cerrados. Tuve que. conformarme con un light meal servido en una especie de bar-discoteca extremadamente ruidoso (música local) por lo que solicité poder comer fuera, en la antesala del disco-bar frente a los ascensores. Al meterme en la cama noté inmediatamente un inconfundible ”olor humano”, nada que ver con el olor a limpio que desprenden las sábanas ”crispy” de cualquier hotel recomendable. Incomodidad añadida: tuve que mudarme a otro hotel para pasar mi segunda y última noche en Alejandría. Ese Muntazah Sheraton es un desastre total: Huir.

From the check-in to the checkout, the staff made us very welcoming, Sayed upgraded our room to a suite, cheers. Breakfast was very nice, room was super spacious with big balcony. I would like to thank Mina from the coffee house, such an amazing guy, was very responsive and helpful and always smiling, and two young handsome guys in the restaurant keep up with the smile & great working spirit, and not to be forgotten from front office Michael, you are a wonderful person and truly appreciate your hospitality and kindness, keep up with the beautiful service that you provided to us, made us feel very welcoming, cheers to Mr. Michael and Mr. Mina

Este hotel boutique se encuentra en el Royal Montazah Gardens, y ofrece habitaciones amplias y con la mayoría de las comodidades, y aunque no hay secador de pelo en las habitaciones, el hotel puede ofrecer una a petición. El hotel tiene una gran variedad de servicios, como Al Jazeera, CNN, BBC, etc. La presión de agua caliente/fria en las duchas lo hizo extremadamente difícil y incómodo ya sea cuando se hace muy frío o que se cocina agua caliente mientras ducha, por lo que necesitan urgentemente resolver este problema. Resort is very close to Alexandria and perfect for short getaway by the pool and beach. Facilities are clean and services are excellent. Nice buffet by the beach is included. Rooms are small but have nice setting between flowering bushes. Pool front rooms are priced higher. The resort is old but well maintained. Internet needs improvement and their restaurant food was too salty. We tried several dishes but only soups were to our liking. The price is on an expensive side but far better than staying in a hotel or apartment in Alexandria.

First class staff, so clean rooms with good space and nice pool and sea view, clean roomy bathrooms, you can eat and drink from hotel service without need going outside but still you can make it outside easily inside Maamora or more distant inside the city, pool is so clean with available plenty towels and side to side shower and Gym, private clean beach less than 100 meters walk, Roomy safe underground parking, highly recommended to visit

It is such an amazing experience, all the staff are friendly and cooperative specially Mr. Emad and Mohamed harby.The rooms are very clean and well organized. Sure it won’t be our last visit. A highly recommended hotel.again thank you so much for your hospitality
