Oz'Inn Hotel & Spa

Et quelle bonheur. Nous avons adoré séjourné dans cet hôtel. Un personnel au petit soin à chaque instant. Une salade de fruits frais coupés à la minute pour nous , le personnel qui nous propose de nous déposer à chaque sortie avec la navette de l'hôtel. Et que dire du confort : la literie au top , la chambre parfaitement aménagée et équipée, le petit déjeuner gargantuesque, le hammam , le jaccuzi sur le toit avec les lit en baldaquin. Nous avons passé un week-end de rêve au cap , et merci infiniment à toute l'équipe de l'hôtel pour toutes vos attention.

Chambre sale, deux heures pour obtenir la télécommande de la TV à notre arrivée et obligation de faire une recherche automatique des chaînes nous même pour avoir accès à la télévision. Par manque de personnel notre chambre n'a pas été faite pendant 2 jours consécutifs. Obligation pour nous de demander à la réception serviettes propres et papier toilette. Le roof top avec jacuzzi est mal entretenu, les fils électrique pendent à proximité immédiate des points d'eau et le ménage y est fait de façon aléatoire, canettes, bouteilles et autres victuailles de la veille jonchent le sol. Qualité du petit déjeuner n'est pas à la hauteur, viennoiserie industrielle réchauffée par exemple....... Prise de contact avec une réceptionniste qui admet le manque de personnel expliquant les errements de cet hôtel. Cette personne nous a informé que la haute direction était déjà avisée de cet état de fait mais que rien n'était prévu pour changer les choses tant que les réservations étaient au rendez-vous. La seule réponse à un client mécontent est 10 % de remise sur 2 nuits.. Fuyez donc cet hôtel qui n'a rien d'un 5 étoiles

"L'hotel Oz inn met en valeur un espace d'exception" mais oublie l'essentiel : Le Service lié a une annonce 5 étoiles: literie inadaptée ( cuvette) ,3 interventions sur coffre fort non solutionnées, 20 mns d'attente pour un café ( petit déjeuner) , un réel manque de personnel sur les postes stratégiques. A quoi sert l'écrin sans le déclenchement d'une expérience client ?

I haven't stayed in the bedrooms at the Oz'Inn, but did have the pleasure of using the Oz'Inn's sundeck and large jacuzzi for several days as a guest of the neighbouring 4* Natureva spa hotel, which is under the same ownership. Whereas the rest of the village has a typical age range of around 45 to 65, it's noticeably younger at the Oz'Inn, perhaps 35 to 55. If you fit into this latter age range, then Oz'Inn could be a particularly appealing place to stay. The Natureva has very limited reception opening times, outside which guests have to check in at the Oz'Inn. The Oz'Inn reception staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and it was they who helpfully advised about both hotels' facilities being available to guests of both hotels. The Oz'Inn has a very nice rooftop sundeck and large jacuzzi, with bar service. The staff are extremely attentive and one never has to wait long to be served. However, the music was a little intrusive at times, often very repetitive clubbing music, which was too loud to relax properly. On the sundeck, there is plenty of intimacy between couples, including some subtle but minor sexual activity. It's quite mild compared to Baie des Cochons. Guests at the Oz'inn can use the facilities at the neighbouring 4* Natureva spa hotel, including its indoor pool, where such activity is not allowed. There is one easy improvement that the hotel could make to the sundeck. Most people who want to sunbathe prefer the north side (facing south) on an open bed without the four posts and partial roof. People who want to shelter from the sun on a bed with a partial roof would be happy on the south side (facing north). So please put all the open beds on the north side (facing south) and all the beds with a partial roof on the south side (facing north). The internet at the Oz'inn is impressively around 300-400Mbps.

Hotel was disappointing. We booked the largest suite with the rooftop terrace that we were not allowed to use. They told us it had safety issues. So we paid for the terrace but got no terrace and no reduction in price. The shower did not drain so flooded every time we took a shower, even when it was just 5 minutes. The hot tub in the room also leaked which explains the sewage smell. The staff knew. We saw them open all the windows and terrace doors when they were cleaning. The smell was wretched. We had to sleep with the windows and terrace door open which lead to lots of mosquitos and horrible bites. We left two nights early knowing we wouldn’t get a refund but they still charged us all the taxes. Don’t do the hotel breakfast. Not worth the €25 per person. Going in September meant the bar upstairs had no attendant. You have to call down to have them bring anything up. Not something you expect from a 5 star hotel. It was truly a 4 star hotel that needs a lot of maintenance.

We visited the area for the first time and choose this hotel this June/July for 4 nights. The hotel is clean and rooms are comfortable and cool. Bar and rooftop area are a great place to hang out and enjoy, although not a lot of shade during the day. Everything is in walking distance from the hotel and you can enjoy spa options at the sister resort within minutes.

I don’t understand how they possibly can justify the cost. For this price, drinks, breakfast and onsite entertainment should all be provided. There is no reason to pay such exorbitant rates for such little return.
