The room and hotel were lovely. Reception staff were great and coffees from the bistro were well made and tasty. I only had a very quick overnight visit to Adelaide, and really only used the hotel as a place to sleep. Bed was comfortable and room was large. I believe that public transport is nearby, but did not use it or have any chance to explore the immediate area. As far as I know the bistro/coffee shop is the only added feature the property offers.

La habitación era muy confortable y moderna y ofrecía todas las citas deseadas. El baño superó las expectativas y fue mayor que la mayoría. Nosotros habíamos elegido una habitación con baño. Muy buena decisión y muy impresionante habitación. La comida era excelente, aunque la elección era limitada, pero nos decepcionamos de que no existiera ninguna habitación en el comedor, la zona de comedor de la tienda para los huéspedes del hotel, así que habría sido una espera por más de una hora para conseguir una mesa. Teníamos prisa y no teníamos tiempo de desayunar. La habitación es bastante grande y debería poder acomodar una cama supletoria si es necesario. Puede llevar niños. La habitación en sí es una cama doble + una cama individual. Una familia de tres se queda, duerme más cómodamente y no se siente abarrotada. Este es un resort de campo. El ambiente es muy bueno. Hay un estacionamiento y se puede estacionar.

El Grand es sin duda todo sobre la ubicación, ya que la posición delantera del océano le ofrece una experiencia absoluta de premio, pero en cambio cae un poco corto como sigue sin mucho signo de renovación. Las habitaciones tienen duchas sobre el baño con cortinas de ducha y el cone de aire en la habitación no fue muy eficaz (demasiado caliente, a pesar de estar en el ambiente más fresco). También se ha acogido una boda durante mi estancia de 1 noche y a pesar de mi habitación en el 5o piso (la sala de baile está en el nivel 1), pude oír la banda/musica hasta el final de la recepción a las 11:30. La habitación tenía todas las bases (frigorífico y congelador, banquete de cocina, microondas, caldera, TV y WIFI). Cuando llegué, las platas en mi habitación eran sucias. La cocina no tiene bañera. Para lavar platos tienes que usar la bañera. El personal es útil.

Although staff at reception were friendly and helpful, management need to allocate more resources to cleaning (as I’m sure the limited staff do what they can with the time they are allocated to clean each room). The state of my room was disappointing to say the least. Rubbish was left from the previous occupier in the bathroom cupboard and with the tea/coffee supplies. The floor looked like it had not been vacuumed. The thick layer of dust along the top of the bed head was unbelievable. It was warm in the room but the ceiling fan was filthy and therefore I didn’t want to use it. Thankfully the toilet, shower and bedsheets were clean but I honestly thought about leaving within 5 minutes of my arrival! The small on-site parking is handy, but it’s tricky to manoeuvre into and only available if you’re in early. The website photo of the executive room suggests it overlooks the park. Sadly, a view of the car park was for us, but the good thing about this was that it reduced the noise from the street. I will not stay at Ensenada again. I will avoid Glenelg as well - too noisy (late night bars), too busy, and quite grubby overall.
