"I'd read reviews left by others prior to our visit, and was able to get a 2 night reservation a few days before our planned visit. My husband and I wanted lodging off the beaten path with a restaurant nearby. The Wachapreague Inn was perfect. We stayed in Room #18, with a king bed, super comfortable mattress, plenty of hot water for showers, nice size TV, little table with a couple chairs, coffee pot and more. The staff was friendly, focused on making sure we were comfortable, and had what we needed. We also liked the 2 outside chairs underneath the cover of the extended roof. I enjoyed early morning and evening walks, down main street, snapping pictures along the way. We ate both evenings at the Island House, just a few steps from the Inn. Food and service were top notch both times. We'll definitely stay here again. "

"So much potential. We really enjoyed this park, but there was so much that is not being fixed up. It's a shame to let it all go to waste. People would really enjoy it here. There are seasonals here, but the sites were well kept up. Laundry is small, quarters only and they do not have change. it was clean and everything worked."
