Nordic Hotel Abuja

수영장과 짐이 특히 좋고, 호텔과 연계된 블루카바나 식당도 좋습니다. 다만, 위치가 다소 외곽이고, 침대가 좋지 않습니다.

My stay here was great, beautiful ambiance, serene environment, the hotel needs to upgrade the room key system, the key is quite uncomfortable to carry especially if I do not want to leave it at the desk. I was warmly welcomed, breakfast could be more elaborate.

The restaurant, “BluCabanna” is on site and a great place to hang out with friends & family. Their menu is very extensive and delicious.The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Home away from Home

I'm an executive and have traveled the world for business and pleasure. This trip was a very special trip. This was my first time in Nigeria and I was privileged to visit with my partner who is Nigerian. We stayed at the Nordic in Lagos and it was impressive and amazing so we decided to cancel our plans to stay at the Hilton in Abuja and instead stay at the Nordic in Abuja. When we arrived it was my partner, myself and our friend who picked us up from the airport. As I filled out the paperwork to check in someone brought a welcome drink and glass of water but for me only. Not for my partner or our friend, my partner had to ask where his drinks were. We were then told that because I was paying with my international MC they needed to hand input my card number. This was odd because again earlier in the day we checked out of the Nordic in Lagos and they did not need to do this. Finally we were told we could have 1 key to the room. I asked why we could not have 2 keys? What if my partner and I went out separately? They said this is the hotel policy. At this point I wasn't happy and told them to cancel our reservation and we would go to the Hilton. They called for the manager. I explained to him that we had an amazing experience in Lagos at their sister hotel and this was not matching this experience. He explained they only do 1 physical key for couples and I said this doesn't makes sense or seem safe. I said I'm ready to leave. He asked me to please give them a chance. I told my partner it was up to him since their trea**ent of him bothered me as well. He said okay let's give them a chance. The manager told us he would have an additional key made available and for us to come get it after we relaxed and settled in. When we went out for dinner later that evening we asked for the other key and the desk person told us there was no key and he would call us after he checked. He called back and said no one was aware of an extra key. Now this is a problem the key is required to actually lock the door from the inside. I have attached pictures. Also our AC unit was above the entry door but could not provide air to the rest of the room attaching pictures of that as well. The next day at breakfast I saw the manager but he said nothing to us to follow-up. When we finally checked out the following day then the manager comes over to ask have they redeemed themselves. I said no and you didn't even try from my perspective. Both my partner and I wish we just left. Like I said I'm an executive with extensive travel if the experience in Lagos had not been so great my expectations would not have been so high. Whomever manages that location needs to go help this location.

A generally nice place to stay. The manager is exceptional, he could be better supported with more empathetic front desk staff.

Great hotel, though access to it is a bit rough - the main road going to it has yet to be finished! Suffers from the usual Nigerian power fluctuations and quite patchy wifi, but the hotel itself is lovely, the food is superb and the service was great. Would happily stay there again.

Cute boutique hotel. However, when the power cuts, everything literally goes off... they could consider a backup inverter. Although the cuts last only a short while. The breakfast spread was limited and room service took a while to arrive

Great hotel. No access road. Breakfast can be improved . But total had a pleasant stay.

I completely love the simplicity and homely feeling. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are very tidy and neat. The environment is calm and pleasant. The staff are very warm and helpful. The swimming pool is so clean and well managed. We had a great family time and the kids loved it so much.
