"Very distinctive British country hotel, each house is very clean, fully equipped, and the floor heating is opened in May, so although it is on the first floor, it is very dry. Especially at night, it is very quiet, the yard is full of flowers and trees, and the yard is outside the vast pasture. You can see the vast starry sky when you look up. The experience is great! The hotel is basically unattended. Everyone's room number has been informed by email. When we check in, we enter the room and check out to the front desk to turn the key. There is a British girl at breakfast to help us make some simple breakfast and experience the British rural family life. It’s only half an hour’s drive to Oxford, and friends who have a car can experience it here."

"Firstly I cannot understand the negative reviews on here, I don't know what people expect for the price. The Plough is a gorgeous very old thatched b&b in a beautiful little village. John and his wife were so nice and very attentive, and the breakfast was delicious and extremely hot. Our little thatched room (3a) was across the courtyard from the main house; it was cosy and clean. My only moan...and is not really a major complaint, this is the only b&b we have stayed at where we didn't get housekeeping services, after 2 days showering twice a day, our towels were quite wet and smelly with nowhere to dry them, but I am sure we could have asked for clean ones, and I am grown up enough to make my own bed! Also tea/coffee/milk pods weren't replenished but we visited the garage up the road for supplies. We would definitely stay again if visiting the area. One thing I feel I should mention for the hosts, the shower bath really needs a rubber mat for safety. The bath is very deep to climb into and gets quite slippery. "
