Imagino que cuando se construyó este hotel era impresionante. Sin embargo, es bastante anticuado y da la sensación de estar muy cansado. La ubicación está literalmente a un tiro de piedra del aeropuerto. No podría estar más cerca. La comida del restaurante era, como mucho, aceptable, pero el desayuno bufé era bueno. No hay bar en el hotel y el casino es pequeño. No me impresionaron la piscina ni el gimnasio, pero están disponibles para los huéspedes, así que esto es definitivamente algo positivo. El personal de recepción y recepción fue excelente. El spa de abajo tiene un precio astronómico y me disgustó mucho el hecho de que los terapeutas no tuvieran vergüenza de casi pedir una propina (cuando un masaje ya cuesta 2000 pesos). Eso no es aceptable, especialmente en un establecimiento como este. Los masajes locales cuestan alrededor de 400-700 por la misma duración y, en realidad, no pude notar ninguna diferencia en la calidad.

First, I really appreciated how Ate helped me to my room. She was so accommodating and easy to approach. Plus, they were very easy to contact whenever I needed something. Second, the location near the airport was super convenient, and on top of that, the pod itself was clean, uniques, and the aircon worked perfectly. It must be nice if the wifi was faster. But, overall, I would definitely recommend this place!

The room is enormous, and also the bathroom. There’s a kitchen inside and 2 tables to work. Definitely, is one of the best places where we stayed in Southeast Asia. The staff is helpful. There’s an Italian restaurant in the round floor, and also a store and a laundry (they wash and dry everything in hours). The grab to airport is cheaper than the service offered by the hotel.

This place is fabulous. Staff is top notch, very friendly and helpful. Some of the best food I’ve had in the Philippines. Lovely place to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee or your favorite drink. Clean swimming pool with seating around. Library with plenty of reading material. Large ceiling fans and standing fans to keep you cool in the garden room while you eat or sit at the bar. Easy to get a grab ride to airport or shopping malls. Looking forward to my next stay.

Era la primera vez que me alojaba en Mactán. En primer lugar, lo bueno es que el hotel en sí tiene un precio razonable y está bien equipado. Puedes comprar mangos y flotadores de mango cerca y enfriarlos o congelarlos. También hay un hervidor para que puedas preparar café. También hay un balcón donde podrá disfrutar de la brisa del atardecer. La mejor parte es la vista desde las escaleras de emergencia. Me quedé en el quinto piso y pude ver el océano desde las escaleras de emergencia y hacía mucho frío. Me alegro de haber podido desayunar mucho también. La ubicación está a unos 20 minutos en taxi desde el aeropuerto. A veces los atascos son terribles. Cerca hay un lugar parecido a un mercado con restaurantes para turistas. No se puede evitar, pero el inconveniente es que está un poco alejado del mar. Además, el mar en Cebú suele ser propiedad de hoteles, por lo que si quieres disfrutar del mar, lo mejor es alojarte en un hotel que sea propietario del mar. Este hotel es muy recomendable para aquellos que no están interesados ​​en el mar pero sólo quieren disfrutar de Mactán. Hay bastantes japoneses, por lo que algunas personas pueden sentirse seguras.

I needed to depart this at 4AM because my flight's departure time was 6AM. I knew that it was difficult for the hotel manager to get up early but actually she got up and tried to give me a good service. In fact, though Grab taxi couldn't pick me up due to GPS discrepancy, the hotel manager talked to the Grab driver in order to lead to the correct position. Thanks for her huge supports, I could reach to airport on time. (btw, your back view when you were on the bicycle was so cool and reliable. LOL) Thanks a lot.

Wonderful place for a weekend getaway! Shangri-la was the perfect option for a weekend of sun, beach, and nice memories with my family - my kid just loved the pool area! Very comfortable room, an excellent breakfast with lots of options at Tides restaurant - try to avoid having breakfast around 08:45 - 09:15 am, we had to wait for 15-20 minutes to be seated. The Italian restaurant Acqua is a great option - the tagliatelle alle vongole was superb! We hope to come back soon!

Habitación ＞ Ventajas: Muy limpio, con una cama king size y varios enchufes para cargar la batería. ＞ Desventajas: La vista al mar fue un poco decepcionante y se veía más una obra en construcción que el océano, que estaba bastante lejos. No había bidé ni ducha junto al inodoro, y al principio la ducha no calentaba lo suficiente (tuvimos que llamar al personal para que lo arreglara). Servicio ＞ Ventajas: El personal fue muy servicial, nos atendió en todo momento e hizo todo lo posible por atender cualquier solicitud que tuviéramos sobre la habitación y los servicios del hotel. El spa también era muy agradable y quedamos encantados con la calidad del masaje que recibimos. Lo mismo se aplica al personal de recepción, que nos ayudó mucho a organizar una sesión de moto acuática. ＞ Desventajas: N/D Ubicación ＞ Ventajas: Buena ubicación en la isla de Mactán, con playa privada, relativamente cerca del aeropuerto, lo cual fue una gran ventaja. Desventajas: Está un poco lejos del centro, así que el trayecto hasta el centro comercial Ayala fue bastante largo. Sin embargo, no es una desventaja si piensas pasar la mayor parte del tiempo en el resort. Servicios: Ventajas: La habitación en general tiene todo lo necesario, como cepillo de dientes, artículos sanitarios, etc. Desventajas: No había agua de cortesía en la habitación cuando llegamos; tuvimos que solicitarla a través del servicio de atención al cliente. Nos alojamos en el hotel por 3 días. Muy hospitalario, el personal es magnífico. Las habitaciones están limpias, el aire acondicionado funciona muy bien. El desayuno es bueno, pero en algunos lugares tendrás que esperar a que te entreguen la comida. solucionado rápidamente. Se puede ver y oír la construcción cerca del hotel, pero personalmente no me irritó ni me despertó, como dicen en las reseñas. El lado negativo es que el servicio en el restaurante y bar local es muy lento, faltan la mitad de los platos del menú y los precios son mucho más altos que en los restaurantes vecinos. Hablando de restaurantes, hay lugares normales cerca, pero para llegar a ellos tendrás que caminar o tomar un taxi, al menos 750 metros por la carretera pasando por barrios marginales y obras en construcción. Una política muy extraña con respecto a la comida “propia” traída desde fuera del hotel (se espera un cargo por descorche de 250 pesos), esto estaría bien si al menos de alguna manera se llenara la variedad del restaurante y la tienda local. La playa está formada por pequeños guijarros, cercada por el mar casi hasta el final por boyas que llegan hasta las rodillas. Entiendo que esto es típico de Cebú, pero tenlo en cuenta de todos modos. Para su información: se requiere un depósito de 2000 pesos por día por cada habitación o mediante tarjeta de crédito.

I’m beyond amazed. The place are relaxing views, magnificent room views, comfortable dining and beautifully romantic area. The beach are clean and clear like crystal twinkling by the sun rays. Unfortunately, Got stung by a jellyfish and the staffs acted and ask about my wellbeing and so fast to close the beach and did the best thing action to avoid for other guests to get stung and do the protocol by putting red flag as warning sign and inform the other guest about the incident. They had immediately responded/managed to implement another activity to avoid boredom to pass time since the beach were unaccessible for the guests to enjoy which ai think are best for all ages can join and even small/children guest would enjoy. It’s a perfect weekend getaway.

The food was also great, we were able to get lots of different Filipino dishes as well as international dishes that we can’t get when we’re back in China. Highly recommended!

Puedo quedarme sin causar ningún problema porque hay accesorios de cocina allí. La presión de agua en el jardín es un poco débil, pero puede lavarse sin problemas. Muy bueno

Todo el personal fue muy agradable y servicial. Atendieron mis necesidades tan pronto como llegué al Hostel. El lugar estaba muy muy limpio y ordenado. Estéticamente agradable a la vista. La ducha y el baño eran exquisitos. La ducha de agua caliente era muy necesaria después de un largo vuelo y la tienen allí. El lugar es muy accesible y está a solo 5 minutos en automóvil del aeropuerto de Mactan y no hay tráfico en el área.

Location wise since it’s near to the airport it only takes 20-30mins depending upon the traffic. But it's difficult to ride a taxi since the area has a road policy. Room is good. Affordable. Don't expect much what you pay is what you get. Air conditioned room. No Television. Internet is available.No soap and shampoos. They will give you one roll of tissue. So please bring if you want to shower or buy. Not advisable for those who have health conditions since the room and the information area was in the third floor. Not as quiet as you expected because the hotel was around the main road you can hear all the vehicles passing. Not comfortable for walking outside be extra cautious with your belongings and jewelries. Most of the nearby buildings are abandoned. Rotten animals near the hotel area. If you want a place near the airport it's good. Just don't be picky a peace of advice. ☺️

I love the staff. They’re very accommodating and when it terms of customer services they respond with courtesy and politely. However, the location wasn’t at the Center of accessibility such as pharmacy and malls but the good thing is that the staff will guides you when you need something to buy. In summary it’s 9/10.
