• room: clean bedsheets and pillows, very dusty AC and overall an average double room. Shared bathrooms are overall clean • amenities: they have a relax and dining common area with pool and table tennis which is big enough to give privacy and also to allow interaction with the other people. Overall the hostel attracts good people and a lot live there for long stay but still very friendly • location: 20min walk from the main commercial road, there is a supermarket 8 min walking distance which is open 7 days until early evening. Beach is 40 min away and easy to reach with transportation • staff: nothing to note my background: I travel 320 days a year since 8 years staying in all range of accomodation from hostel to 5star. I just review objectively what I see with no judgement

Location is good but it’s not somewhere for younger travellers, just lots of older people who are working in the city cause it’s convenient and close, it’s not really a hostel for travellers.

La ubicación en Port Elliot es hermosa. Teníamos un cuarto de baño compartido como reservamos tarde y esta es la única disponible. Aunque la habitación es muy pequeña, es razonablemente limpia y el baño también es limpio. La cocina compartida y la sala de cenas son un complemento porque podemos cocinar nuestra propia comida si no queremos comer.

¡Recomendar a los mochileros! El ambiente es genial y el alojamiento es genial. La ubicación también está cerca del centro comercial Rundle. Mejor porque la terminal de autobuses y la estación de tren están cerca.

Tbf most reviews were bad, but the place was alright. The lady who taking care of the building seemed harsh at first, but she’s actually very kind and friendly. The building is unique, especially the hallway and bathroom. My 2ndfloor room had wooden pieces on the floor like they were still fixing something, but it looked pretty cool. FYI You also get warm clean towels filled up all the time!

Saya sempat menginap di Port Adelaide Backpackers saat mencari tempat yang hemat tapi tetap nyaman, dan ternyata pengalaman saya cukup menyenangkan. Dari awal datang, suasananya terasa santai dan khas hostel backpacker, cocok buat yang suka tempat sederhana dengan nuansa ramah. Lokasinya juga enak, berada di area Port Adelaide yang tenang dan punya suasana unik, jadi rasanya beda dari pusat kota yang ramai.

The room is okay and reasonable price.

Good place to stay for solo traveler. Easy self check-in and check-out. Quiet and clean. It’s nearby the center and easy to reach the center just by walk. Very recommended.
