The reception service was very good . however, the staff at the restaurant were unfriendly, almost like a canteen. The room i stayed in did not have a door for the bathroom. Also one of the cups already had a crack and it leaked. The water in the kettle was full when i arrived. The toilet was reasonably clean. The pick up and drop off service to airport was good. I must commend the drivers to be friendly , helpful and on time. The gardens were very pretty.

Our stay at Bellgrove Guesthouse was warm, comfortable, and genuinely welcoming. The guesthouse offered a peaceful residential setting while still being conveniently located near Sandton and key amenities. The breakfast each morning was a highlight — generous portions with options ranging from full English breakfasts to lighter continental choices. The parents especially appreciated the quality and effort put into the meals. The rooms were clean, practical, and suitable for a family stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, creating a relaxed environment that made us feel safe and at ease. Transport logistics in and out were manageable via Uber, although occasional driver issues with change were noted. Overall, Bellgrove provided a homely and dependable base for the Johannesburg portion of our trip.

I had a very pleasant stay there. Everyone working at the property was kind and helpful, the property owner as well. We had nice discussions and if I needed an advice, they'd help me. The place is clean, quiet and orderly. The internet is fast and there are all amenities possible for cooking. The only little downside is that some days the water was lukewarm and due to the cold weather it wasn't pleasant but I don't know why that happened and it was temporary - I forgot to ask if they noticed it. But really, nothing to complain about. There are a few stores around where to buy food for cooking, some bars, not far from them a concert venue that programmes alternative music such as old school hip hop and punk and there's a cultural entre one minute from the venue.

I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the exceptional service we received at this hotel. My elderly mother traveled all the way from China to Johannesburg and then to Windhoek, and the hotel staff truly went above and beyond to ensure her comfort and safety. They arranged a seamless pickup upon her arrival and a timely drop-off the following day, which made her feel incredibly supported throughout her journey. She raved about the excellent service, and I was impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms. The breakfast was delightful, offering a great start to the day. Overall, we had a fantastic experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a warm and accommodating place to stay!

Amazing hospitality

Elija esto porque veo un transporte gratuito y desayuno gratuito, pero en realidad, el último enlace es salir a las 11:00 de la noche. Cuando llegué al aeropuerto a más de las 11:00 de la noche, dije que el enlace se paga por la noche. Estoy dispuesto a pagar, pero no puedo llegar al nivel para recogerme. Puede estar en la estación de automóviles, lo sabemos, La Sudáfrica es natural, y la probabilidad de caminar por la carretera por la noche es muy alta! Finalmente, yo gasté mi dinero en coche a su hotel y descubrí que la puerta estaba cerrada! La ubicación del hotel es muy lejana, ni siquiera hay luz de carretera por la noche, la luz negra está encendida, el conductor es negro, todos piensan en el lugar, ¿no es fácil? Sé que la recepción salió a las 11:00, pero ya he escrito por correo: me aterrizé a las 11:00, llegaré a las 12:00, lo saben claramente, pero todavía no han dejado a nadie. Hace mucho que el conductor volvió y abrió la puerta. Al principio, el conductor se negó a darme la puerta de la habitación. Me pidió que añadira el costo de esta noche de 200 Lant. No lo sabía. No lo dije antes cuando se iniciara Trip.com. El día 2 no tenía tiempo para comer el desayuno para viajar al aeropuerto. ¡Una estancia no es agradable!

What an amazing stay we had at foreve wild !! From greeting us at the gate to the reception, everything went smoothly the lady at the front desk was absolutely amazing. The area is quiet and there is a lot of animals to see around. The rooms were neat and everything you need was there. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was Excellent 👌 There are a few restaurants in the area just ask and they will guide you there. Make sure to pay the conservation fee when you enter Dinokeng and get a self drive game reserve permit. I would definitely go back and stay longer!

The rooms were generally quite clean, with a few bugs because of some of the open windows. There was a fan and aircon provided so closing windows is an option. Had hot water even when there was load-shedding (planned municipal power outages). The staff are friendly, helpful, and willing to work with you to make your stay pleasant. There was a pool, and the grounds were quite nice, with some pretty outdoor seating areas. The food was generally quite good, although a little limited for vegetarians.
