Great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city! Balai Balatong is located inside a barangay and has kubo/hut theme with a touch of modern elegance. The rooms are well designed and are really clean. We were lucky to book the place for our own on that day as it is a weekday for a very inexpensive price. We got the pool and entire place literally for our own for a day which is great! It could be priced double or triple for its current state of the rooms. As the place is relatively new, just opened last 2024, there is no in house reception available. Works like an airbnb. No in house-resto yet. These two might be the reasons why they are holding on to pricing the rooms higher. Would have given them a perfect rating if these are available. There is a good restaurant though just in front of the place called Pha Ramen which is an aesthetically good restaurant serving good Pinoy dishes (and accepts credit cards). Staffs are friendly and accommodating. We had an early flight the next day and they were able to arrange for our transfer to the airport. We will surely come back!

La experiencia general es muy buena con algunas propuestas de mejora. La tarifa de la habitación es relativamente baja. Las instalaciones son nuevas - paredes frescas pintadas, habitaciones sin escenas, cuarto de baño recién construido, aire acondicionado y aparcamiento gratuito. El hotel está situado a menos de 10 minutos a pie de Calle Crisologo y Plaza Burgos. Hay una carretera estrecha que va allí y después del puente corto, la zona se convierte en residencial y luminoso a la noche. El hotel se encuentra en una zona de 2 estrellas, con una amplia gama de habitaciones. En general, el hotel tiene un fuerte potencial para ser una alternativa perfecta a los hoteles establecidos en Vigan si pueden mejorar aún más.

Decided to try Chalaroste despite the comments wherein the bathroom stinks, daming langaw, sira lock ng door, etc. and it was not a regret that we booked this resort because it was amaaaazing! we availed the standard room. It has tv, mini ref, toiletries (towels, tissues, soap, shampoo, toothbrushes & toothpaste), water heater since may coffee and creamer provided, bottled water. lahat yan is good for 2 na. mabango rin ung cr sa loob ng room, no issues at all. May wifi rin! Complete na rin sa common kitchen, no worries na mag aagawan since they provided lots of plates kalderos and the like, lulutuin na lang dalhin. Mabato ung beach but the infinity pool did not disappoint! Ang ganda lalo na sa gabi. May signage na u can use the pool until 9 or 10 pm yata but the staff let us swim there until 1 am. There are tables near the pool which overlooks the beach na maganda mag chill! Pet friendly also ❤️ Overall, I loved the place! It felt like the price was too cheap for such a resort that has a complete amenities. Literal na sarili mo na lang at pagkain dalhin mo.

The room was clean, spacious, and aesthetically pleasing. The staff were kind and very generous they didn’t charge us extra even though we checked out later than the usual time. They were also very responsive to our concerns and queries. We were the only guests during our stay, so we had the whole house to ourselves, which truly felt like home. The place is close to Vigan City, although it can be a bit hard to find since it’s tucked away in a narrow area. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again!

One of the best accommodation we have ever experienced! when we arrived we have been greeted with a smile by Ms. May and her staff in their cozy cafe and the paper for checking has been prepared. We were informed with every detail for the activity that are available at the location. Every time we have a request we are always being catered with a genuine bright smile. Note that there place is astoundingly beautiful, neat and clean. What you see on their photos are what exactly it is in person. Free breakfast are also so delish, there daing na Bangus is a must try! what makes an accommodation enjoyable is not just the place itself, but also the staff and the people that works in it, Big thanks to Ms. May for the service she and her team have provided, we remember every kindness and smile you have shared with us, you made our staycation memorable and would definitely comeback! hoping your place got the recognition it deserves soon!
